  1. I know I watched most of the Episodes, but it wasn't in the lines of how Reno 911 is, the slapstick comedy it's ment to be funny. The sad part about Ski Patrol was they were being serious. That's why I said if they made a show like Reno 911 for Ski Patrol might be a riot when it's actually ment to be funny.
  2. Yeah Patrol we clocked a guy going 20 mph swerving erratically all over the slope. Someone should make a spoof Ski Patrol show like Reno 911 is for Police. And dedicate it to Blue Mountain Ski Patrol.
  3. go figure cant be a horrible movie with out people getting eaten by an animal or animals.
  4. wow they will do anything to make a movie.... lame. the movie should be called "waist of money" than "frozen".
  5. How many people do you think will venture out in it though? 4 to 8 inches is pretty much to turn most people away from traveling. WFMZ says no less than 6 inches, so for the location I would say 6 to 8 inches maybe a little more in certain areas. I think only the diehard skiers and snowboarders will be on the mt to shred the powder. But who knows considering valley is open tomorrow so it might bring out a bit more people than normal. I'm working board check so i'll be up till 4pm and I am going straight home, don't really want to get stuck out in it. However Sunday i'll be up for an early morning shredfest. I hope they don't groom Sunday morning. Just leave the powder like it ended up. nice and fluffy. i mean 3pm not 4pm.
  6. I was just curious where the BIG amounts will be and NOAA's forcast for Callaway, Virgina at an Elevation on 2598' total accumulation 16-26" thats crazy! Of course thats the forcast for Tonight and Saturday. Lehigh County is in the area of 3-6" and locally higher amounts is Forcasted right now. See if that changes. Countys South of Lehigh is 6-12" and locally higher amounts. Edit: Those amounts are coming from WFMZ which gets their Forcast from NOAA.
  7. 5 dollar can of waterproofing might fix that lol hey for the people who only go a handfull of times during the season its cheap and wont waterlog like jeans will. shit wet jeans that freeze and become a block of ice, i would never want to subject my legs to that on the mtn.
  8. man i missed that...... if ya cant afford ski/boarding pants least buy windbraker pants im pretty sure those are atleast waterproof. i forget who sells them but some big named boarding company sells blue jean boarding pants.
  9. I love how mother nature does a better job grooming than people that are hired to do it. ya condidtions were fantastic on every trail. the rain and warm temps made it great for today. i left at 4 so it who knows what it looks like now.
  10. who knows what would have happened if it didn't rain Wednesday.
  11. well you know blue they have to open up with the same 7 trails every year.
  12. im just glad they are opening tomorrow.
  13. which brings me to my next question, any note on what trails will be open or will it be the standard easy out, vista, midway, mainstreet, come around?
  14. hahahaha true that steve. You going up in the AM?
  15. I wonder how many thousands of dollars it would be to close off blue tomorrow from 8 till 12 for pasr's only....... hmmmm (ponders) I'll be with three other guys for the 8am session.
  16. god lets hope or its going to be a shitfest. 730 arrival first on the slopes!!!!!!!! The Best Birthday Present EVER.
  17. okay nevermind even better blue opens tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  18. Oh I didn't know about more f'in Rain on it's way for Tomorrow... Ugh.
  19. Jeez, all the time they have to blow snow I wouldn't be surprised if they have a 24' inch base on the 17th or damn close to it...... Great first time in history they open up with a good base and lots of trails but it's too damn late in the season if the east coast EDIT: Pennsylvania, could open Resorts with a good base (around 24') and more than 10 trails and be open by the 1st of December every year that would be the shit. So that would mean snow making temps by mid-early November.... Dosen't sound to far off but compared to this year....... I'm going out on a limb here.. I didn't get up to Blue since Monday so I haven't talked to anyone yet about what trails they want to open but I bet they will have 3/4 of the Mountain open for Opening day if they don't Jim & Barbara needs their heads examined... Anyone else think the same?
  20. good luck with that i wouldn't try it this year unless you know someone.... ticket and pass scans at the lifts new for this year.
  21. I rode blue a total of 42 times last year with only a 36 mile round trip..... ahhh i love living close. jfbb is only 72 miles round trip. I would hate having over a 100 mile drive each way.
  22. yeah which everyone decides to use anyway passholders or not. I can't tell ya how many blue jean skiiers and snowboarders i saw in that "vip" line.
  23. hm yeah that is valley school east/west lift.
  24. i dont think thats the 6pack... im stumped it the quad or main st/burma chair...... i just checked palmertons temp via noaa just to double check and it said 39* 30 min ago?
