It's nice not to see Tubing anymore what lift is that? the quad?.... there not blowing at all, looks like glare... unless they blow snow in 39 degree weather...

Friday... as long as they open Friday... There might be some Features i'm not totally sure though.

figured they would be blowing snow on the whole mountain just as hard as the trails that are going to be open for friday, they have plenty of time to do it... A week is a long time for snow making with optimal conditions. They could have all the above open by mid next week weather permitting. they have been blowing on home stretch and shuttle like crazy... so reason to blow on those unless they are making an atempt on opening the six pack asap.

Of course these are the norm when it comes to opening day but for those of you who didn't visit blue's site in sometime they updated it today with some pictures on the main page and this on the conditions page. Not too much. and for lifts will be the usual Vista Chair the Lift for Valley East & Main Street maybe Burma Chair if it gets busy. Blowing snow on Home Stretch is a good sign of more opening up on Sat or Sun to get the Sixpack going. Yay it's finally here! They blew snow tue morning to test the guns.... i dont see why they wpuld have needed to test the guns last night too.... i think they just blew last night in order to put down as much snow as possible even if it does rain it all not going to melt. once the rain moves out thursday afternoon its on like donkey kong for snow making night time temps for the next few days are lookin gooooood.

Good because in the past years and years their website was horrible and not updated daily. my unborn son could make and keep up a better website.

Wait Blue is blowing snow again????? it's supposed to rain today (wednesday) and tonight (wed night) with temps forcasted in the 40s and 50s why on earth dont they just wait till friday?

Just to Test the Guns, don't get too excited. Best bet for good snow making is for Friday night and on.

Blue was Testing the Guns at 4:30am, Great to see Snow on the Mtn. Even if it's only to Test. Just need to make it through this Week and by Friday night we might see some snow Making. Temps are looking Great so far.

Now that I think about it. Any "Park Rat" that can throw some pretty remarkable stuff are substantial Riders. I think learning how to Ride Park made me into a great Outside the Park Rider. Thats why I went into Park, Regular riding wasn't pushing me to the limits anymore and I wanted something more to strive for.... Over all to make me a better Snowboarder.

I'm really never on any other trail other than Sidewinder unless I am going for a Top Speed run down Lazy or Main St, and "other" Park Rats can vouch for themselves that Sidewinder is where they spend almost all their time also. If Roving Instructors are on Sidewinder I would LOVE for them to show me how to throw a Backside Method 540

Or what I like to do is blaze down a trail waving my arms franticly and weaving all over the place "out of control" cracks me up..... I like to take in all of the funny motions noobie/gaper boarders throw into boarding and i like to put it into my "own" concoction.....I just don't have a name for it yet.
