    RIDE Timeless

I came pretty close to buying that board but decided on Plamer Honeycomb 3. The timeless is a stiff board, it will eliminate your chatter at high speeds and give you more stability (especially at 164 cm). It makes turning a little harder (depends on how much you weigh) but overall it's a really good freeriding board. I ride park with my Palmer although it's probably too stiff for it, but it doesn't bother me all that much, I'm assuming the Timeless would handle somewhat similar. You'll love the control and the speed you'll be able to hit with that board. Bomb down Cliffy or one of the front four and you'll see how much more stable it is.
  2. You could always try launching off them You accelerate faster whan in the air anyways lol. I have a mad stiff board so I don't really have issues with bumps.
  3. Yea the date they have is a little late. It's weird, how does Blue say thay'll open the 1st and CB with the "best snowmaking system in the region" is so late?

    CB Wall Ride?

It definitelly does not look like it's straight downhill. It's probably at an agle. Hard to tell from the pictures.

    CB Wall Ride?

I don't think they would really mess them up that much. Definitelly not as much as a rail. Maybe more like a box.

    CB Wall Ride?

Yea I think you're right. It just looked a little high to me to be at the bottom. It's probably like half way or 3/4 of the way down. Awsome.

    CB Wall Ride?

That definitelly looks like one. That's kind of an odd place to put it though (it looks like the entrance of the park). It's probably just a big a$$ bulleting/information board lol. Hmmm, I'm all excited now. Hurry up winter.
  8. These forecasts are all over the place. I don't even look at them anymore. Although Accuweather does seem to be better than weather.com. Besides anything over 5 days ahead of time is just estimating and averaging in what happened in the past, more or less educated guessing.
  9. However long it takes for the temperature and humidity to drop. The higher the humidity the lower the temperature has to be in order to make snow.

    New rails

I know. I'm not sure where they would fit 9 new rails on top of the current 7. I don't think there's enough room to put that many rails in with the parks being set up the way they are now.

    Palmer Pls plates

I've had the shock for a season now and I love them. Totally got rid of my heal/toe drag (size 11 boots) and they provide a small but noticeable increase in edging power. As far as park goes. I haven't had any issue with them, they seem to be OK. For hits they actually make the landing a little easier on the knees. These are really small changes but I got them off e-bay for $45 last year and I figure what the hell try them out and I like them.
  12. ^^^ Now that would be fun

    Snowboard Helmet

I'm thinking about getting one. You guys think it's a good idea? Any suggestions? I was looking at the Giro nine cuz it looks cool and seems like a good helmet but I don't know, I've never had one and been OK but had a couple close calls so I figure it's not worth risking it anymore. I'm also set as far as buying snowboard stuff goes cuz I bought a lot of crap at the end of last season and I'm coming up with random stuff I can spend money on
  18. I'm good for it hehe. I've bombed that trail so many times. My only issue is at the beggining. I can never go faster than a skier because they have poles to push off with and pick up speed a lot quicker. So maybe like a skier best time and snowboarder best time. Now Cliffy is fun too. If you go fast enough you can catch some air at that last drop off I remember going down it faster than some guy on skies last year and he started saying some crap at the bottom about it not being fair cuz it's one board versus two skies and blah blah blah... I didn't even know he was trying to race me. As far as the time estimate. I have no clue. I've got a really bad time perception and when riding I'm always in a zone so time just flies by. Will need a stop watch to even figure out what I can do. But just to shoot in the dark 3 min sounds ok, depending where and start and end is.

    Just saying Hello

That's right Dela WHERE!!! Ok I did not just say that. Everyone from DE going up to CB would be cool. I'm definitelly up for car pooling and stuff. I try to be up there as much as it is possible so maybe we can work something out. My girlfriend also has a good size house up there so maybe we could get some people together and have like a weekend up there or something for a relativelly cheap cost. I'm there pretty much every weekend (Friday - Sunday)when the mountain is open. What do you guys think? I can do the UD thing cuz I know a good amount of kids there even though I go to Drexel. So let me know.
  22. I was kinda hoping no one would ask that question... It's like a regular orgasm just with snow. Few examples of what a person might say while talking about a snowgasm compared to a regular orgasm: Oh man that snow rode good = Oh man that girl rode good. Damn that snow was banging = Damn that girl was banging. I just wanna do a spread eagle on that snow = I just wanna do a spread eagle on that girl. .......... I hope I don't get banned for that...
  23. I don't ski but I can tell you about how I got started in snowboarding. Mainly you just have to do it, don't think about it too long or anything just stand there for a second and look it over if you need to and than go for it. If you're confident and don't think about it too much your body will just take you through it. Think about it this way, once you jump there really is no other way but to land it and your body knows that as much as your mind does so just let them do their thing and enjoy the ride. Rails are a LOT more slippery than you think so don't try and overcompensate cuz you'll just wipe out... I'm speaking from experience here lol trust me once you hit that rail with your chest and realize how much it hurts you will do everything not to ever go through that pain again. Once you get those basics than you're free to try all different kinds of things. I know that I always ramped off everything I could find on the runs, I think this is the best way to get used to jumping on snow without actually going to the bigger jumps in the parks.

    Just saying Hello

I'm near Rt 7 an Kirkwood Highway. I know about Ski Bum, been there plenty of times. Just sold my boots on the swap sale thing they had for $100 (they were brand new) and got a snowboard bag for traveling this season and some other stuff. I love it but I also hate it cuz every time I leave that place I'm at least $50 poorer but on the other hand %100 happier I've been to longwood... it's uhh a lot of plants and stuff so if you like that sorta thing... I drive close to there on my way to work every day (Newtown Square, PA taking all the back roads 100,926)... snow is gonna make my drive real fun let me tell ya, I really need a 4x4 vehicle. Kennet Square is cool, I used to go to local punk rock shows there back in the day at the American Legion and it was fun but that's really all I know about it. And my ex-girfriend lives in Landenberg so I know whare that's at too hehe, I'm like a walking talking Google Map
