Good one!!! BC will prob open in January and Blue will be packed with BC skiers and riders. I hope they don't offer them free skiing like the one year it wasnt fair to the blue passholders. Was a good marketing ploy as many of them saw the light and the light was Blue. Even though Blue opened last year on November 22 the valley lot didnt open until December 13th just an FYI

The will prob be a good time to go since they should be open and PA resorts prob won't be open get except for a couple bonkyards. You gotta meet up with the PASRs at blue this season!!!

Big boulder usually doesn't open until 10am and by. 10:10am there a long lift line of Jibhonks already. Usually opening day at BB is free lift tickets with ten cans of food. You can get cans of corn and green beans for like 50 cents each so I pretty good deal.

PoconoOceanCity when the forecast low is like 27 or 29 or 31 it's not good snowmaking weather maybe they can blow for an hour or two assuming dry conditions. We need lower 20s, light winds and low humidity.

Main Street is my minumum but you're a Jibhonk so you have fun just buttering around. Anyway if you are cool with a tiny slope maybe you can hit up Big Boulder with PoconoOceanCity on Root Friday.

Oh hell no on a just Vista opening that's a mess there's just not enough lift capacity. Blue mountain if you are reading this no vista only opening. The last and only vista only opening was in 2012 the last time we saw out buddy ILikeIceCream on his rental skis.

Hard to believe only 10 days from now Blue opened last year and it was already frigid. Except for two frosty mornings its mainly been like 50-70 degrees. I haven't even had to wear a hoodie out..I think I should try and save more Johnny cash. Could be more travel this season if winter gets started slowly. I may have to venture over to the accuweather forums and read a little but more on this. I'm hopeful that a drastic change happens so PoconoOceanCity is making turns at Big Boulder on Root Friday.

I just looked at their temps....well temps for mount pocono and looks marginal at best. If temperatures trend down 5-6 degrees it could happen.

What are the odds of a Black Friday opening at Big boulder???? If the long range forecast is accurate we might have Main Street and lazy mile open for XMAS.
