Hey All, I’m back from a fun bonus day of skiing at Blue mountain the true mountain. After a grueling 2 hours of work, I headed up to the hill and arrived at 11:45AM. It was in the mid 30s under mostly sunny skies. In the house were Atomic Jeff, Bethlehem ford Guy, Harold and a couple hundred boomers. Quite the line for the quad at 1155am. This is the first and only noon opening. First run on Razors and they did a fine job grooming with smooth cord with a little ungroomed manmade mainly the lower 2/3 of the run..a little sticky in spot but overall not bad. I only skied Razors and each run the headwall had more churned up cookies and the middle section was becoming more boilerplate. The weather was great the only issue was that the quad was stopping for about five minutes every run which led to an almost full Corral liftline a few times. I skied for a bit over an hour then hungout in the lot a little bit drinking beer and now back at work mainly to take in the mail and count money. I likely will be back Sunday morning for the 9am opening. JADIP

I was trying to wait until 9pm to check the webcams but here I go again on my own seeing if it’s turning white in the Blue zone

@AirheadD8 I heard the lights in the snowmaking cannons might be blinking. Maybe they’re booting up..I’ll check the webcams to see if the lights are on..41 degrees in the A right now and drop drop dropping prob like 36-37 at Blue and drop dropping some more

Nice I’ll prob end up getting the full ikon pass because I wanna ski Aspen next season maybe crash in Johnny styles guest wing lol and hit the volcano. I wanna hit up sugarbush again. The last time I was there I skied middle earth top to bottom. Also amazing you’re at Stratton in 3.66667 hours from Manhattan leaving at 5am. Some drive that far to ski blue

Hey All, It’s almost the weekend..some thought this past Sunday was closing day but alas Mother Nature and the blue mountains operations team are delivering three more days of skiing and riding. Is anybody planning on skiing Blue mountain this weekend? Friday they are open 12pm-8pm and Saturday and Sunday will be doing their Dolly Parton 9-5…the lineup Sunday am will be long but worth it cause not many players left in the game.

I don’t wanna be away from work much and already starting to make plans for Easter weekend and beyond so I hear you plus I need to buy a lot of ski gear for next season but mostly fun stuff…plus I wanna do a couple little summer trips maybe Nashville, glamping..mall of America. The sky is the limit.

It’s gonna snow a lot this is one of those upslope systems where the highest elevations get 3-4 times more snow than in the valley. It’s why jay peak can sometimes receive 18” when nearby towns receive 2”. Im pumped for you enjoy

@saltyant between the funicular and the service/employee entrance at the Allentown service plaza Hardee’s..you’re really becoming in the know. Next you’ll be staying at the 49er in Jackson hole

You might wanna reschedule whiteface for April. They’re doing really well up there.
