  1. Sheesh nasty people. I love hot dogs and I’ll never go there.
  2. I’ve heard that eventually there could be an annual booster shot needed. Also 132,000+ new cases today. I remember back around mid July when it was half that think wow just wow...mid December maybe 300k?? Also North Dakota has had the highest per capita rate of infection with about 7% of their population testing positive for corona. PA is ranked 44th with 1.7% officially testing positive. Vermont is ranked last at .3% as far as testing Rhode Island and Alaska have done more than one test per person during this. PA ranks very low in testing with about one test per five people.
  3. I’m talking about a few places where no mitigation efforts have taken place. Brazil hasn’t done but and Covid-19 is still raging. In Mexico there were 5,000 new cases today and 500 new deaths so they obviously aren’t testing many people. From what I’ve seen people are only immune to Covid for a certain amount of time so herd immunity could be a fallacy.
  4. France had 60,000 new cases and 800 new Covid deaths today and has 1/5 the population of the US. Holy crap.
  5. My exact thoughts..noway they both had masks on.
  6. Over 10,000 new cases in Illinois today. Holy shit and about the same population as PA..
  7. I have forgotten to take mine off a few times..I also forgot to wear mine into the hotel house the one night for my 40 or so steps down the hallway and the next day realized all my masks were in my car so I tied a ski sock around my nose and mouth...housekeeping didn’t even bat an eyelash.
  8. Positive cases per 100,000 in the last week. Surging the most in rural areas.
  9. There’s not going to be a national lockdown but many areas could see herd immunity before there’s a viable vaccine if numbers keep surging the way they do.
  10. Levine said that despite the Coronavirus surge there are no plans to go back to red yellow or green? For some reason I thought we were in green now. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.pennlive.com/coronavirus/2020/11/despite-coronavirus-surge-in-pa-levine-says-we-have-no-plans-to-go-back-to-red-yellow-green.html%3foutputType=amp
  11. County maps. Even carbon county which was mainly spared earlier in the pandemic is seeing high numbers as it has 1/6 the population of Lehigh county
  12. 3384 new cases in PA with 195 of them in the Lehigh valley...I wonder if any of us have already had Covid-19 and didn’t even know it. I’ve had hangovers worse than the flu..
  13. Same I think he means Main Street in Bethlehem. I don’t blame them. It’s super nice out. I’m looking forward to some outdoor drinking and dining tomorrow night..maybe I’ll even bump Saturday night by the Bay city Rollers for Stoke one of @indiggio favorites.
  14. People in the Lehigh valley generally don’t wear masks outside except the really urban folks and people waiting for the bus. From what I’ve seen in Philly and NYC people wear masks walking on the sidewalk. Just stopped by Mario’s pizza across the street from dispensary on Hamilton BLVd and three employees. One wearing a mask properly, one wearing it as a chin diaper and the owner had mask hanging from one of his ears. I still see people driving by themselves wearing masks.
  15. I don’t think I’ve ever eaten hot pockets in the hotel house. If Salty comes by I’ll buy a box and he can double fist...
  16. Yeah at one place I won’t name earlier in the pandemic the one owner was walking around shaking everybodies hand...crazy considering I gave my parents elbow bumps when I saw them a few weeks ago. Good thing my friend was carrying hand sanitizer. I don’t even remember how to shake hands it’s been so long lol.
  17. This is how half the bars in Allentown are.
  18. When I was out Saturday night you would have never known we are in the middle of a pandemic. Band playing, people dancing, costume contest...Covid fatigue is real.
  19. It seems like most of the new cases are from small to medium sized at home gatherings. That’s what makes Thanksgiving so scary in terms of future spread. You have people who wanna hug and kiss each other spending hours together. Some are still very comfortable being close to people during this. When I had my car serviced last week the service tech was all up in my business..he did have a mask on but I feel like half the people out and about don’t think Covid is real. I honestly dont think governor Wolf has the balls to put any new restrictions in place. He has taken such a beating from small business owners that I feel he’s in the learn to live with it phase. I have noticed a significant drop off in people who want to come into my office vs late summer when we were only at 500-600 cases daily for PA
  20. I know several people who had Covid but I also know a lot of people. I also feel like many people have kept hush hush about it if they test positive, they aren’t just broadcasting it on Facebook. The worst is one guy and his wife who are friends with my cousin and live down in Boyertown..they both got it at a home karaoke party. He was a Covid denier before and when he got it he said it’s just like a bad cold..then a few days later he had to go to the hospital because he had trouble breathing then a week later he had friends over to sing karaoke. I said you shouldn’t have people over and he said it’s ok, they were all around me before anyway. Sheesh. Almost like with chicken pox where people want to get infected.
  21. Not gonna happen without more/new restrictions.
