  1. That bag you showed is too large...if your checked luggage doesn’t arrive would you prefer to be without skis and poles or without skis poles and boots??
  2. Salty your reading comprehension or communication sucks. It’s 45 linear inches allowed for carryon on American Airlines. 22x14x9..that rollerboard picture you sent me where your ski boots fit in would be just fine..you could squeeze a lot of clothes in that as well but I wouldn’t expect to fit a helmet in there.
  3. I’m glad somebody caught that!!!
  4. That’s not for a carryon bag that’s for regular checked baggage...like a full sized suitcase. Ski bags can be longer. My ski bag is 200cm which is 78 inches
  5. Dude that’s way to big for a carryon. Are you serious. We went over this..your boots fit in your rollerboard which you can use as carryon.
  6. Wow I haven’t had a boot bag since high school and never had a fancy one where the boots went on the sides.
  7. You flew to Boston enroute to Sunday river??? I guess accounting for 55 cents a mile wear and tear on your car you actually saved money. Just the thought of getting on a plane for an eastern ski trip is weird and I flew to Burlington Vt when I was in college and didn’t have a car a few times.
  8. It takes zero time to deal with skis at baggage claim times two. Salty isn’t gonna rent skis. He’s not a gaper anymore and you aren’t a gaper any less
  9. No room in suitcase for helmet??
  10. At least they aren’t tightened..
  11. Wow 7 degrees out right now.
  12. Salty did you find any good airfare deals online?
  13. I don’t think it’s the right boots so much as people want to have their own boots. I understand..I bowl occasionally and I don’t have my own bowling shoes. What wide skis did you rent at Copper?
  14. When you go on a date and pay your part of the bill with your Frontier MasterCard I imagine it’s a real panty dropper.
  15. I’m laughing so hard..thanks for that. I actually once had a man in Johnny rockets at the Chicago airport ask me if I wanted some of his fries because he wasn’t gonna eat them all when he noticed I only had a burger and no fries. I declined but later regretted my decision.
  16. Frontier really charges $80 each way for carryon? How much did a three day ski rental cost at copper mountain?
  17. Well it was good while it lasted..thanks again Barb for hooking me up with buddy passes in the past. I wonder if Salty booked his trip yet.
  18. Does anybody actually like slow lifts??
  19. And you can always go to Vermont later in the season. There’s no rule that says you’re limited to one ski trip per year. You might just have to postpone that trip to go Tour de France and visit the Switzerland of PA Jim Thorpe.
  20. That sounds like something Ski2Live would do. I know Ski2Live shared a suitcase with his buddy on his 1.5 day ski trip to Colorado a few years ago.
  21. I think salty should go out west. He has the time and the means. Not to mention all the hot skier chick pussy that will be thrown at him when he shows up on the slopes with his RTMs....101 less than the length will be on tap for SaltyBalls
  22. That’s a nice score...my ski bag was almost $200 and I keep trying to get one more season out of it. I might need to add a little more black gorilla tape.
  23. Only a gaper would check their boots. Southwest prices are too high like $500 one way but I checked out Orbitz and some decent prices on Frontier, spirit and American Philly to Denver. Leaving Sunday or Monday and returning Friday or Saturday
  24. Barb has buddy passes for copper mountain if you end up going there. She can email them to you for you to print out. I think like $79 or $89 instead of whatever they charge maybe $130 a day.
