Nice I always used to post in my report what song/songs I was listening to on the drive but today my brain was in a pretzel twist from skiing behind so many wahoos and I was one of them

Yeah it’s BS..Bethlehem ford guy confirmed and we all were pissed but he was only the messenger and then Dirtwolf confirmed with his internet phone. I wonder if camelback will be open..being farther north and east the rain won’t starting falling there for until ten minutes later.

I just looked them up on Wikipedia didn’t know they were from Bucks county. I’ve heard of them..I’d have to go on YouTube to see if I know any of their songs.

Guy who was parked next to the paid parking said $36 but that they weren’t charging today cause nobody to work that lot. I never get any good information from randoms in the parking lot. I also got to ride the scooter today…it’s electric ⚡️ I better not hear a you’re my boy blue tomorrow if it doesn’t start raining until 4pm or only spritzes…prob will be real foggy.. The springy almost styrofoamy snow with no ice underneath on coming soon is something we don’t get to ski much of at Blue…that was real nice.

Hey All, I’m back from another fun day at Blue mountain the true mountain. I arrived at the lower lot before 720am and it was 32 degrees in the valley and 41 degrees at the upper entrance..and inversion yo. In the house were Atomic Jeff, Johnny Law, PARidge, JFDan, Mute, Justo, Pops, the Real KT, Enjorales, TP4, Mixilplix, Bethlehem Form crew, Matt edge, Indiggio, Dirtwolf and many others. Some went to the quad first I went to the super summit safari six pack for a run down midway to lower main before it got crowded. Conditions were ok..small cookies on lower main but not terrible. Then up the quad to Freefall and was a deep base and lots of 3D snow…by later in the session the bumps were getting pretty big. Lower paradise is to narrow to be enjoyable. Just to many slow people in the way. Skied some more laps as the sun rose and it sure got warm out…then in the lot while having beers we got the bad news that Blue is closed tomorrow cause of predicted rain..bah bah bah bullshit so I guess I’ll see some of you Tuesday morning to see what’s left. Feel better, you sure test for Covid a lot. The manager at the hotel house has had Covid three times. She said it’s like the flu. The report says Paradise and Freefall open today.

Whoever buys that house better not be cheap when it comes to tipping the pizza delivery guy.

I won like $100 off a ticket at the local loaf and jug and the cashier was big mad that I pretty much cleared out the register like I got paid in mostly $5’s. The old cashiers at Wegners hate $100 bills if they’re gonna charge $10 for six shrimp get used to $100s. Weis self checkout if it’s like $33 I’ll put in a $10 and then three $1s and then a $100 and it spits out 4 20s lol and I always do self checkout in Spanish. I even had the self checkout monitor come over to me once and ask if she wanted me to change it to English and I said I know Spanish and like doing it in Spanish. The Spanish voice is great it’s straight out of telemundo it’s not the Spanglish they speak in Allentown. I forgot what this was about I think $600 and one million doll hairs

And paid parking I heard $30 or $40 they hadn’t decided yet or perhaps it’s weekday/weekend price. Guess we’re in Teton county now..

Agreed if they charge $40 they’d prob bring in a similar amount of revenue but the experience wouldn’t be as good. Realize with bear creek closed Blue gets some of those people as well. While it was crowded on the runs today I felt most were pretty courteous. Amazing that I used to complain when there were like 3-4 people in my way on switchback or razors going like 75% of my speed where it just wasn’t worth passing..low risk reward. Well with people going 10%,25%, 50%, 75%, my same speed and a few hauling past just a lot going on in my brain. This Xmas week is gonna be bonkers. Would be a good time to travel somewhere but I want to be in the office a little and also places are crowded and expensive then.

The lights are working. I’m watching the cams seeing if I can spot Dirtwolf and Matt edge.

Blue is charging $102 for a morning pass tomorrow and $115 for an 8 hours ticket.

Looks like snowmaking temps return Tuesday night..they should be able to resurface the existing 12 trails and tubing for the holidays.

Yeah and C1er was telling me in the bathroom that paradise and Freefall were opening today. I don’t see if happening with current coverage

Those kids are assholes. Maybe they’ll set up some gates this weekend on midway and lower Main Street.

Hey All, I’m back from a fun morning at Blue mountain the true mountain. I arrived at the lower lot around 825 and it was a frosty 31 degrees at the base but 39 at the upper entrance…mad inversion Yo. Some guns still blasting around the base area and the top of Razors. Wow a lot of people were in the house today including NMSki, Atomic Jeff, PARidge, JLaw, Dirtwolf, Toast, Root, C1er, Bethlehem ford crew, TP4 and many others. The same terrain as last week was open…they didn’t blow enough on Paradise to open. Easy out and vista had nice snow almost packed powder, midway was pretty good a little slick near the bottom and lower main was decent. By the second run it was really crowded and a few runs I was at a near standstill in the mob of people on midway..I skied the same run until about 1030..I didn’t venture into Burma but heard it was ok. They also have the paid lot set up at the lower lodge with a digital display that says how many spaces are available. All in all a fun morning and now I have 8 voicemails at work. Ski most of you tomorrow.
