  1. 70s and 80s are tops for park. also, they can please a wide variety of folks and are less offending to those they dont appeal to.
  2. this was on friday night, and the facts will come in a bit, haha. john and sheriff are my boys. now.
  3. tomorrow ill put up a highlight reel of the fiasco, decent fun.
  4. its definitely over the top cheesy. when the montage management detained me for riding without a lift ticket, a misunderstanding, he asked where the club organizer (who i prepaid to) was. i said "he might have left, but i hope hes enjoying montages fantastic north face," while mimicking jimmy hopping left and right. john, the manager, and the sheriff were baffled.

    ski sizing?

last year, once i bought a 152 custom x, an expensive piece with the highest end wood board engineering, it was all i used, and this year after resurrecting the 143 from veritable retirement, my days have heavily favored the 143 white. it is very playful and obviously easy to toss around, but it also has surprising speed, stability, and even float. yes, technology is getting better and better, but you cant deny a good old formula that fits so well and is just plain fun.

    ski sizing?

i just need a swallowtail or a long tapered board to have a very complete quiver. for our area, un/fortunately, i dont really need it because i have a nice stiff and reasonably long deck i can set back to work very well in the deep.
  10. im a pretty basic rail slider, but speed always makes things easier for me. of course, theres a limit, and when you slide fast, you need to know how to handle it. the bad thing is she has a utah trip coming up so i hope she get clearance to get out there.

thats still middling. im glad they make the best of it with a renown park.
  12. i believe she said it was the silver flat box with no sides. its pretty basic, and she misjudged it and was just zooming in then broke the fall with her wrists.

those numbers are astoundingly minute. i wouldnt publish them either, haha.
  14. one of my friends broke her wrist yesterday in the bb park by. she can hold it down on jumps, but shes not a very experience slider and was flying into the feature. it wasnt a bad fall but just the freak landing that did it.

    ski sizing?

then weight, experience, and usage do rule the day in both sides of the winter psorts realm.

    ski sizing?

its just that? then, its the same with boards for beginners. can you say that skiers of your caliber dont consider height in sizing equipment? snowlerblades worn by clowns of normal stature come to mind.
  17. can you ask why the other instructor insisted? im tempted to think they were trying to sadistically mess with everyone in the park, but i wouldnt want to jump to such cynical conclusions.

    ski sizing?

weight, experience, and usage take precedence in sizing consideration, but for snowboards, its sensible to also consider height to shorten length. excessively long snowboard tips are more difficult to handle than the same excess in skis due to the nature of snowboard mounting, the mechanics of snowboard turning, and just plain snowboard girth. out of curiosity, why would height be taken into account at all with ski sizing?
  19. i thought i was going to get a montage edition a red stripe after getting railed in the ass. thats my story, and im sticking to it.
  20. you could/should? have bequeathed a well deserved under cutting tail whip.
  21. haha, its all love.
  22. definitively.

  24. lightening was great and by far the best trail of the night. it was good clean jumping around the extra forgiving moguls. it looks like they supersized the last table, and all the rails look to be set up on nice little mini tables, even the raindow lip. tilting it up and sinking it down will make it much more friendly. i only took one ride up ironhorse because...
