I've been withholding my Whacks Wax for a bit because of the warm weather because though it's good in the high temperature range (summer camp tested) it truly begins to shine in the mids and just gets better as it gets more frigid. i think im going to start with the thick bike lock idea as well. at single lodge pocono mountains, its even better than a portable lock.

apply a layer of epoxy, and since you have your own gun, i assume youve got the basic procedure of dripping and levelling down. if possible with your gun, melt the repair into the surrounding base to make sure it plugs tight.

montage claims 100% snow making and could be more open but doesnt have the employee power.

thats extra cheap. i might go just to get that great ticket price.

blue enthusiastically makes snow. montage does not.

any ptex repairs will be "extruded" and not the best for wax absorption. high grade ptex can be close to sintered molecular weight and actually be better than most extruded bases. of course gouges all affect performance, and all base repairs help. dont sweat the small stuff, but be sure to take care of the core. remember its all about the rider.

the top to bottom lift isnt that great anyway. phoebe holds it down.
