  1. Protocols could also be around next year because they risk alienating a large swath of the market by not having anything in place. I'm guessing that for as many people will get their shot and start party rocking in night clubs an equal amount will continue to mask up and won't feel comfortable in places that don't at least put on a show of being Covid safe.

  2. Not surprised to see that picture of the airport. It's a design nightmare. When I flew out of there the line for security wrapped all around that "multi purpose room" as I'll call it so you were in a huge line snaked around all the baggage claims and lined up right in front of the ski carousel. Make sure you get to the airport with plenty of time to fly home since you know how far of a walk it is from the gates to the entrance.

I’d pay $900 what difference is $300 gonna make during th course of a year. That’s $25 a month..you can barely sponsor a child for that.

    900, 900 900....

Do I hear $1,100? Come on ladies and gents how can you put a price on skiing the coldest six pack in Pennsylvania?

Looks like another nice sunny day. WTGAI.

WJW. Blowing snow and putting fresh stone in the lot. Now I'm good for paying $600 for next season.

If they planted some trees like Elk I would be fine with $900. Leaving money on the table!

I might just write them an extra check actually but Don't cash it until next Thursday

I haven't been inside other than to use the bathroom a few times, but based on their "limited" ticket sales I can't imagine much limiting going on inside.

Inside is where the only state mandated limiting would be in effect. They are supposed to have capacity restrictions, no booze without food (when is that going to end btw) and reduced table capacity. There's no way they can reasonably count the number of people inside but I would guess it's set up so that it would be fairly uncomfortable to actually utilize the lodge right now.

  6. Just my two one hundredths of a dollar here but I think the current pricing is a reaction to what they are perceiving now and not any kind of forward thinking or projections. Obviously they have the data and we don't but my best guess is that these perceived crowds will go way down next year when they are loading lifts at capacity and people can be inside longer if they keep selling "reduced numbers" of tickets.

Increase all you want, that's fine but do it slowly. 40% increase year over year for any product is jarring and I know @skiincy with her marketing expertise can weigh in on just how unprecedented that kind of move is.

  7. Other than them reading this board and listening to people who kept saying to raise the prices I have no idea where this would have come from in terms of a business decision. All of the other PA mountains now have cheaper season passes.
