The Timmy bus did not cancel because it did not start to snow here until 9AM I lapped Exhibition for a few hours. It was like riding in a a snowglobe all day long. Good to be back. bigdaddyk Posted March 2, 2009 Report Share Posted March 2, 2009 (edited) I slept in today, since I have the day off of work...actually the week off. Got there at 11:20 and it was still snowing, along with being a balmy 12 degrees. It worked out good, because the old frozen stuff was covered over, although the wind was blowing the snow around a lot. I did probably 90% of my runs between challenge and thunderbolt. The wind didn't blow much around, on those two. The left sides were the best. I only did two runs on east mountain, because I wasn't too impressed with it. If you looked around and picked your course, the snow was really nice. If it weren't for the wind, it would have been probably the best powder day of the year. On the way home, I saw an orange juice truck that had been involved in an accident and they were cleaning it up. The radio said they were having problems with this, because a lot of orange juice spilled out and froze on the road. Freak lawn mower accident. I lost all the fur so I could wear a surgical mask. Masks leak air if you have a beard. I couldn't breath cold air without a mask for 4 days and something as simple as walking the dog 50 feet made me have massive asthma attacks.
