Any inside deals on places to stay close by? What type of ski and stay packages are in the area (if any)? Should we purchase the 2 day lift ticket from Elk? I've researched a bit, and found a few places that seem good, but figured I'd throw it out there in case someone knows a good spot. Look at some of my trip reports for last spring... I stayed in a Days Inn in Wilkes Barre, and on a weekend the room was like $60 with AAA... It was about a 25 minute drive and was located in an area where there were some restaurants and bars... If your looking to save money, it wasn't bad... Can't beat Chet's for a good time..It should be rocking that weekend, prime time ski season. If you get there early enough on Fri night, have the Steak Special--good steak cheap.
