They put a new vid on the website today.... I doubt it was from today but if it is im shocked looks great.

I most definately am thinking about it. My friend still wants to go but he's having car troubles so it's a toss up with that, I'm not sure if I will drive myself because a 7 hr drive & stay is no fun solo. If he can't fix his car he isn't going to go because he'll need the cash to fix his car. Not sure whats gonna happen yet but I'd love to go.

Just to keep you guys from making a trip for nothing tomarrow I checked the website and it now says re opening Saturday. I checked the forecast as I wondered why and it's supposed to thunderstorm all day tomarrow & strong winds for Saturday

Your best bet other than Boulder would probably be Mount Snow. Otherwise Killington or Okemo is never a dissapointment both of their websites tell you exactly what they have set up on their main parks. If you feel like going a couple hours further than Stowe. Stratton also just held the U.S. Open. I went to it in the very early 2000's and if I remember right they left the competition setups up for the public afterwards. I barely ride park up north though, there so much more natural fun to be had in the trees that we can't have here in PA.

Same thing that swept through here lasted about 30-45 min it was nuts. I hope the Cameldome kept it safe.

Shawnee has an interesting crowd of people mostly weekend warriors from the city that constantly visit shawnee and some locals from the bushkill/marshalls creek area. I learned how to snowboard there in the late 90's & held a pass for two seasons. I remember visiting Camelback for the first time after having learned at Shawnee as as a young buck I thought Camelback was a real giant mountain one of the best on the east coast lol!

Partly cloudy with a slight chance of thunderstorms. High 52F. Winds ENE at 10 to 20 mph. Chance of rain 30%. We all knew they werent gonna open today, it's Camelback they're afraid of rain and dread lightning oh well at least theres still options.

Did nips win the alien invasion today? The skier competition looked pretty close between nips and a couple others the dude in the red shirt and the dude in the white greenish jacket.

Today was their last day believe it or not, they outlasted most of the mountains in PA.
