Where the heck are you guys? I'm in Bethlehem and seeing light flurries and nothing is sticking. Maybe it's better by the mountain. Weather.com says 0% chance of snow at Blue though. Whatevs... I'm putting chains on.

Honestly didn't look like they lost much at all. They are blowing a ton too. Tomorrow should be sweet.

It's actually not bad at all tonight. Mountains empty. Light flurries. Firm but grippy surface with random soft spots. GSS would be the fastest man on the mountain. Edit- terrain park is a sheet of ice. Dust on crust.

I may be selling smith i/o's with the polarized rose copper lens (25% VLT for bright conditions) and blue sensor mirror (75% VLT for darker conditions. Easy to swap lenses and you have the best of both worlds.

^ True. Everyone has there own style and I used just point the skis straight down and go, too. Makes for epic 20 second runs and enormously massive lift-to-slope time ratios on these small PA mountains.

Where did you find last years model for 8 bills? If still shrink wrapped, I could definitely jump on that. RE- being nit-picky... Every skier should be with their gear. It's the subtleties in this game that mean the most to us and this ain't a cheap sport so might as well do it right. What is right? That is for each one to decide for themselves.

That's real cheap. At that price I'd scoop them up just to try them out and flip them at no loss. I already know I love them so I'm just being trigger shy at this point.

The skis I'm really pining over are Kastlë mx83's. Balls expensive though.

It's a feel thing for me. Rockered skis are just a little more vague at turn initiation than stiff cambered skis. It's also a feedback thing. Rockered skis are a bit more forgiving when you are out of balance and I like the harsh feedback stiff cambered skis are so happy to give. Lets me know I'm not on top of my game. Some are not as bad as others and I don't hate rocker but it is harder and harder to find skis without it these days. Even race skis are getting rockered out.

Yeah you will. Wow. Seems legit tho. Last year I scoured the Internet for the prior years Kendos because that was the last year they were fully cambered. It's a dying breed of ski. Everything under the sun has rocker now.
