Its do able. Check out the Sons of Inferno race....Not sure if they still do it, but those people would laugh at the the flatness of WL

I didn't get the sence that at Denton they raced on that super steep trail, just that it was at the same mountain as the race. And you could race on WL...could be really ugly, but its do able.

I did ski it....2 years ago when I was at montage for that J3-5 race. But I didn't take a tuck run down it, nor do I remember exactly how far away the lift was. Anyway I don't think it is the steepest thing from here to VT (NY has some pretty steep stuff), but it is probably the steepest in PA (cept for denton if that has what they say it has).

I know its steeper in person...Looks like a good tuck run, cept the lift probably comes up real quick once you get to the bottom of the headwall doing 60mph

Ski, I know you can get a picture that looks steeper than that.

Umm you could go for a tune up tomorrow at lunch if they are still sticking. Not really sure what the best wax is for pow (maybe ski999 has an idea), but I bet the shop would know if you brought them in. You could always try some of that Zaldon stuff...Tell us how it works.

My guess would be they need to be waxed again. I find that in fresh snow the skis get stickier, and you have to pay more attention to wax to keep them moving. You could try some rub on stuff if you could get a little tin/bottle of it anywhere.

Well I missed it. I would say skip derbies and go to wistler...Cept since you are a 2nd year J3...Its going to be really hard to make it next year. I guess you are in a pretty good place. Either you go, and thats sweet, or you go to whistler, and well thats also sweet.

Derbies=States SkierBoi is a J3, so he has states/derbies out at Seven Springs. Not sure the exact date, but I think it is pretty soon. Anyway he is on the CB team.

Congrats on making it to derbies. You did a real good job at Camelback, with out that, you probably wouldn't have made it. Remember to Kill at Derbies..>KILL KILL KILL!! Now just to talk your 'rents into letting you go.

Ok here is how my points broke down... Tussey: Run one-20 Run two-29 Blue Run one-20 Run two-24 Frost Run one-45 Run two-36 Since it was my best 2 runs added up I had 81 points. Tyler P. (from CB) led the northeast by having 1st place runs for NE kids in all his PA cup runs (giving him 200 points for his 2 best runs). Umm actully it was JF that I had my good race at...Hence getting me in. I can give you the points I got at blue, and the points I got at JF...But I know my 2 runs at JF were the best qualifying finishes...So uhh I love JF...well not really...Well I would if they put in a high speed lift
