  1. They just look nice man, you can get them for so cheap on ebay it's amazing. Got my Wisdoms (New in Box) with a Black Iridium lense for $40 after shipping on Ebay, then picked a clear lense up for 25 off of some fighter pilot site on the internet. Very nice goggles I can use at any time for cheap.
  2. Hahaha how's it going Willdo? I haven't talked to you in forever. I was just looking at how everything's going back home, and I saw your post. Find some kids and film because I want to see what Bear is like this year. Too bad you can't make it out to Whistler this year for a couple days, tickets are so cheap right now. Catch you later man, and sorry for being off topic, hah.
  3. Did you happen to venture into the parks? I'm going on a Vermont extravaganza pretty soon and I'm probably going to hit Mt. Snow on the way back. Any neat boxes/rails that were interesting?
  4. or..... you might as well give it to me .
  5. I know, it sucks. I have three earily dismissals Tuesday-Thursday at school this week and I was planning on skiing during that. Now what am I going to do Bear, Now what am I going to do!? Probably pay lots of money to go to Blue Mountain. Bah.
  6. Hey everybody. As I'm sure you all know, basically everywhere is closing except Blue Mt this week, which means that my friends and I are probably going to be buying a lot of passes to Blue. I keep hearing everyone saying "they" are handing out half price coupons. Who are they and where can I get them ? Because if I can get a couple of these it would easily double the amount of days I can afford to ski at Blue, so that'd be awesome. Thanks guys.
  7. Hey guys guess what? Y Spin On A Jump? You Look Stupid Anybody Can Spin! You Might As Well Give Up On Life Period!! Seriously why would you do anything interesting at all when you could just go straight or sideways on stuff? People should understand that when they jump over jumps they look really dumb. Actually why air the jump at all? Anyone can do that. You should roll over the lip. That's what freestyle is all about. Just kidding
  8. The Public Enemy and I were the skiiers doing it yesterday night, if you were there at night. Oh yeah, I guess it would be a Y rail. Public Enemy and I were calling it a split C rail, but we just made that up. They have a j-rail but it's not setup right now, sadly. I loved that thing.
  9. I love you Bear Creek. Seriously, will you marry me? I really do hate all the little kids in the park (like 5 years old little), or those that suck and get in the way, but then I have to ask myself where should they go? Now I know where they should go and hopefully will be. Not to mention it's great to have a place with some simple stuff to teach someone on and not get in the way. I don't know how you guys have it set up, but little stuff can be awesome for learning stuff, and I hope that's how it is. I setup that tiny little box you guys have in the base area and learned how to get on it switch, switch-ups, and a switch flat-spin. I'll be sure to check the new minipark out next time I head up!
  10. Hmmm... Well I guess if there isn't much interest I might stay home and work tomorrow.
  11. you forgot to mention that if all you do is ride that gondola you will never be able to sit down the entire day, haha.
  12. I didn't see a topic posted about it, so I'm sorry if there is one. The Public Enemy, I and our smaller versions will be there tomorrow if anyone else is going. Post if you're interested! This is the PASR Day at Shawnee tomorrow, 2/18/06 by the way incase you missed the topic.
  13. I always miss the good stuff. Of course I see the shirtless men, which is the one thing I don't want to see, and miss everything else. Bah...
  14. Yeah, I could have definently used an "idiot you left crap on the top of your car" sensor. It's nice to see I'm not the only one who does this. Hopefully I'll find the person who has it .
  15. Hey everybody. About two weeks ago now, I managed to lose both my helmet (an old Matte Black Giro S4 with a Helmet Cam velcro piece on the side) and my googles (Nice Oakley Wisdom's, "Jet black" which means black with little silver pieces on them with a clear lens). I did the old "leave it on top of your car and drive away" trick. The helmet didn't get far, we checked the sides of the roads and the parking lot the same night and it wasn't there, so someone grabbed it and didn't turn it in. I checked lost and found and it's definently gone, but here's the kicker: My freaking name, phone number, and address are on a big orange sticker in plane view on the inside of the helmet. So, someone definently has it and know's it's mine . If anybody here knows anyone that found a helmet/googles in the parking lot or sees anybody with this setup on: <--- but with a clear lense Please kindly ask him for my helmet back, haha. I will love you forever and we can split it or something, I don't know . Notice the velcro thingy on the left side. If thats on there, it's a dead give away. Even if they peeled it off, it might still leave a rectangular mark. Thanks in Advance to anyone who keeps an eye out for me.
  16. Haha, oh I see, I didn't understand the contex correctly. That's too bad, I had a really funny image of Kevin Breen suspended from a lift by his jacket. That makes this thread totally different now.
  17. Haha, just because he's small doesn't mean he isn't good. Kevin is really good. He's sponsered by ride and someone else too (I believe, maybe just ride). He's like 3 feet tall and I see him 360 off rails and switch up boxes and all sorts of stuff all the time. If he wasn't allowed in the park, not many of us should be should be. Now how he ended up hanging from the lift, that I'll have to ask him. I laughed when I heard this just because it's such a Kevin Breen thing to do. Oh man, I'll have to ask him about it. Glad he's okay though. Oh yeah I think he's 14? Not 11.
  18. I am also very interested in what the park is like now. Their webcam seems to be down and I want to know if they set anything cool up with the new snow they just blew. Oh yeah, and from skiing around here and at Bear, we have so so so much more snow up here. The snow didn't even extend to the ends of the trails last time I was there, let alone have enough for some big jumps. A lot of the jumps that they had melted too. Thats the problem with everything being about 8 degrees warmer down there. They can't make snow when Blue/CB can.
  19. Which one are we talking here, the low to the ground wide c box, or the tall c-box with the weird connector thingy on the end? I miss the low to the ground one. It was a lot of fun and it was the first curvy box I ever successfully did, haha. I'd like to see either up again, but I guess it's hard with the 62 degree weather in January...
  20. That was the best description I've ever heard from an actual high up employee at a ski-mountain. That sounds like an awesome plan, I'd be super excited if I wasn't leaving the state next year. I hope it all goes through.
  21. That last semi-wallride would be more fun than any of the other wallrides. The possiblities on that one are endless, especially with the downbox on the side of it. Stalls, grinds, spins and gaps could all work on that, it would be amazing. I can't believe you guys would bash that, haha.
  22. Haha, doing it for our own good, what a load of bull. The only good thing they did was make me leave Camelback and go to Bear Creek, whose fun factor has destroyed Camelback's by at least 10,000%. Honestly the amount of fun I had there in an hour, equalled all the days I've spent at Camelback this year. The conditions still weren't that horrible, even with the rain/ice. I hoped new management would solve how much Camelback sucks, at least a little bit. They bought some new boxes, but besides that, I've seen nothing good this year.
  23. That's why we're going to Bear Creek. Screw you Camelback. They could open and the conditions would be just fine, better than when it's complete ice. Screw 'em.
