  1. been to Jackson, Vail, Keystone, Breck, out west and JH tops them all......
  2. LOL... I got some 75cm Grom skiblades to unload that were my sons.... doubt they'd sell...
  3. A sweat shop could post an opening on here too, should we all jump on it and applause?? F them if they treat their people like that... honestly it doesn't cost them .01 to give their employees a season pass. They have the lifts running anyway and there are plenty of open chairs that could be ridden by their employees who in turn could be looking after their precious mountain while they are skiing / riding / promoting it... blah blah. How do you expect anyone to expect someone who can't even respect the people they know and trust to work for them??? Ethics like this are exactly why there are so many disgruntled employees in the world... Pay people like crap, then crap on em and expect them to bend over backwards and give a reach around in the process... Give a little get a LOT....
  4. Anyone been to it in the past?? Worth going to?? I've always shopped there since they are the closest ski outfitter to me, however I've never been to the swap and sell.. was thinking of going to check it out this weekend if I have the time...
  5. There are plenty of people around who would love to own a pair of those... good score..
  6. keystone kicks major ass PERIOD!!! Breck was loaded with rocks when I was there last year... Vail was just huge open space... fresh snow everywhere... and it you took that j bar or whatever the hell it was you had the whole one side to yourself... awesome skiing for sure...
  7. $45 for that... well honestly most of the people on here would pay that being as it's October...lol
  8. Just bustin stones... I'm not wishing bad on any ski area that's for sure... let it snow let it snow or at least let it be cold enough to make the stuff!!
  9. Will BC actually open for more than a month this season??
  10. sno has just been added to my short list of mountains to ski at in 2007-2008 season
  11. The only thing I know is that the name of the place sounds like something I never want to have... Although skiing there might be in order at some point by the sounds of this thread...
  12. WTF... season pass to blue $536 for a season chock full of runs with quick lifts.. Trip to steamboat with lift tickets... $500 + for what maybe a week if you're really lucky.. I'd take the season pass myself.... Of course myself, I head west and go to blue as much as possible... skiing is skiing and I'm having fun on a beginner hill like spring or at a place like Jackson... either way I'm skiing and not doing something else..
  13. Thanks for the info... Blue should post it on their website... this is 2007 and not everyone has access to their brochures. Looks like that's what I'll be getting, and I'll save a whopping $10 since I'm getting it early...WHOO HOO!!! $10 is $10 you know... FWIW I didn't feel that what Justin said was negative, to me he was just saying that if I was to point out the fact that they were slipping up they would be a lot quicker to respond back. That's true with a lot of business', noone wants to piss of their customers and when they realize they might have done that, they go out of their way to make sure it doesn't happen again. Not negative, especially if it's the truth. Either way that's just my opinion on the matter, and it's noone's business but his what he pays for his pass. If he gets it for $100, then great for him cause I'd love to have one for $100 myself, if he pays double what everyone else pays, then shame on him for not researching it better... in the end it's noone's business but his.

    Goggle Help

I wear glasses and the wisdoms seem to be the only ones that fit overtop of them good without killing the bridge of my nose...Otherwise, I'd have gone with the crowbars, blak ird.easier for me just to find a helmet they fit with than to find gogs that fit over my glasses without pain

  19. Honestly, because it doesn't bother me that much... I pretty much know they aren't going to discount the card... it's one of those things where you just got to pay what it is. Camelback discounts their camelcard before a certain date which is what I always did in the past because it was a great deal for me... 50% off on sundays made it perfect, and I did a lot of 2 day trips with my boss where we'd get a 2 days open to close pass for sun-mon and it was like mega affordable. Now he doesn't ski (board actually) around here as much and pretty much just skis out west and a couple times in the poconos late .late jan- early feb basically. not to mention that I went skiing with you guys on the weekends which was cool.....so I'm trying to switch on over to blue. Had I lived close enough to make a season pass worth it then I'd just do that, but between the trip and the gas/tolls etc.. it's pretty much pointless for me to head up there unless it's on a weekend or I'm staying overnight or taking off from work on a weekday, or something like that... I know for a fact that I'm going to do both wmmr days at JFBB with my eldest son as the 9.33 lift ticket makes it affordable for me to take him, but other than that I'll pretty much just be doing the blue every other weekend thing again.
  20. know what's really sad... I e-mailed Blue about the blizzard card and if/are they planning on having on again this year, cost, etc... and da f'erz never e-mailed me back. Great customer service from Blue....even camelback would've at least sent me a message back..
  21. insert that ending quote from ferris buellars day off here... Something along the lines of... Life is short if you don't open your eyes once in a while you'll miss it... Winter will be here in a flash and we'll be back here next Oct. waiting for the 08-09 season to start soon enough..
