Any idea where? I encountered a couple in vt, mt snow and okemo(i think) and they were pretty cool. I heard they were all over the place in breck but while I was there didnt see one.

Try adjusting which slot you have the ladder going through. A friend had his in the front slot and they would slide up pretty consistently. Once he moved them to the slot towards the heel, he was good to go.

Good job hitting the chutes. I didn't make it to Rose this year, but last year I was only able to drag one of my buddies into the chutes because of how steep there where. Not sure which ones we hit, but they were definitely intense.

If only you got there a day sooner. Wed was easily the best day of riding I've ever had. The mountain was entirely closed Monday, and the back remained closed on tuesday due to wind, so wed had days a fresh untouched everywhere. Completely insane. My week was epic to say the least.... Sun, Mon @ Sierra (around 10inches each day) Tues @ Squaw (first time the back was opened in a couple days, waist deep for most of the morning) Wed, Thurs @ Kirkwood (wed was the first day the back was opened in a couple days) Fri, Sat @ Alpine (thought I was in for a mediocre day but we found a couple fields of fresh that lasted the whole day)

He's lying. I talked to several locals this past weekend, and they all reported that their last snowfall was over a week ago. I did see a report from like 2 weeks ago mentioning like 20" though.

Ptexing isnt really possible without the proper tools. If theres a core shot and you care about the board, pry best to get it fixed. If its just some scratching though, waxing it yourself isnt all that difficult.

I have a pair of heelies. The first time I wore them out was to a toys r us. I was cruising around the store getting a feel for them. Once I started to get a hang of it I thought I would get a little more adventurous. I picked up some good speed and then tried to make it down a whole isle. I was coasting along but then geeked out right towards the end of the isle and took a sharp left and crashed into some toys that promptly fell on my head. The couple standing near by got a nice chuckle out of that.

I saw the additions earlier today as well. My wallet is going to be angry.

My latest burton complaint is that they treat some of their customers like second rate citizens. eg. If you buy some new cartels/triads (likely all of their bindings) the 3 hole base plate has a nice cushion top, where as the standard disc is just a plain old disc without the extra cushion. That's some bullshit.

I believe you are correct. I don't really see how you could actually jump that. I was scoping out riding down the backside of it and jibbing a tree. I'd pry die though. That first jump is nice. Still havent gotten the balls to hit the second one yet. I haven't actually seen anyone hit the second one.
