Everyone has their preferences. Sure, I would love to live in the Roaring Fork valley, but until I can afford to, I'll continue to live on the east coast. I'm not interested in sacrificing my "dream" just for short term gratification.

If I can schedule flights properly, I should be able to squeeze 18 days in, maybe more, we'll see. Going to be another good winter, for sure. Off to the Alps in just over 3 weeks though...no skiing

Jordan...I'm well aware...but I've never been a late season skier. Once it's warm enough to play golf...I start golfing. I love to ski and I love to golf...I can't wait to ski when it's golf season, and I can't wait to golf when it's ski season.

Serves them right. Management won't even listen to the race team anymore. Every race coach echoed our complaints whenever I mentioned it. They were just as annoyed.

For a quick weekend trip, I need convenience. Not enough time to dick around with driving from Denver, etc. Aspen is super convenient, no need to rent a car, the shuttle from the airport is 5 minutes, I know where everything is. This time of the year I'd stick to what I know for the sake of making the most of my weekend.

I don't think I can make it happen this weekend unfortunately. Golf tournament on Saturday morning, and the flight I'd need to catch is at 2:30pm out of ABE, and that's cutting it close. I just msg'd you though...next weekend I'm free...let's go!

not enough fucks The truth is, gas prices are what they are. Nothing any single person can do about it. If you want to drive your car, you've got to pay to play.

While I don't care about the actual cost of gas, the rising cost of oil makes everything more expensive.

I didn't think Telluride even got that much...terrain there is great, but I haven't been back since they added their new stuff. My friends that were there recently said it's worth coming back.
