  1. then how comes i often see bode racing DH on his Atomic GS skis (the '05 atomics),? They seem to be barely above his eyes (probably low 180's)....Then i see other people racing on last year's all red atomic DH skis, which are well above the head. Are these USSA races, or worldcup that i see on OLN....because body defaintly isn't on 205's in most DH's
  2. hah, well i wish her good luck! And she needs to do a downhill, just to say she did it.
  3. when does she do a downhill at the birds of prey?
  4. uh what the hell? Ask greg to type the text message i sent him....I asked him to ask Ski999 the status of the race, if it would still be on. And it's not my excuss, it's blues. I was there this morning, but there was no race.
  5. yea, that's what i thought, but ASRA's email said "Blue says that they can run the event regardless of the snowfall, assuming that it stops before morning. So- unless there is a cancellation message on the ASRA Web site, the race will be on." But, when i skiied this morning, there was WAY too much loose snow to run a race, they need some serious water injection.
  6. I'm having the worst luck. I wanted to race today, but of course, it snowed too much, and they had to cancel the race. Starting to really aggrevate me.
  7. btw, i'm not a new ripper i'm gunna have to say Ski999's daughter
  8. eh, it eliminates the chance of the lock getting cut, and of losing your skis at all. I've never had a line, i just wish more mountains would do it.
  9. all that needs to be said
  10. you're crazy ski999.... think she'll be better then your oldest?
  11. Anyone that has atomic bindings knowns how annoying it is to lock your skis, as there is no real way to put the lock thru the bindings, unless you fit it underneath the metal band, but the new Neox bindings have a more conventional design, which will allow for easier locking. as for me, i use blue's complimentary ski check
  12. as dthmtluncrn said, what's wrong with it? And honestly, are you in any position to say anything about the park, when, at the PASR meet, I could see your assprint on the top of challenge, all the way from the bottom? Now, I was there today, and there are still more hits to be made, and more rails to be put back in, but it all takes time, i'm sure during the week they'll have it packed with more things. Skiing today was great, depsite the horrid winds that, when I tried to go down Razors Edge, would NOT let me accelerate down the headwall. It was a fierce wind.
  13. hope you're ok missy....hooking a tip sucks
  14. tell me about it, the difference between the second degree, and the third degree, is great

alta as of 3:30pm has 130" of powder...and it's calling my name...cya guys on sunday! peace!
  16. moved for ya anyway, this is blues third weekend i think of being 100% open
  17. the ski family is very anti-blue for some reason. I can find reason to like camelback, and I can find reasons to dislike blue, but the reasons i like blue FAR outweigh the reasons i like camelback. skimom just has blinders on to the world.
  18. exactly. as kmar said, blue was blowing for quantity before the warm spell. now that everything has been resurfaced, they're blowing QUALITY snow, and its great snow.
  19. uh, defiantly not. Stick to razors edge, and you'll be in heaven. Trust me, you'll be speachless.
  20. speaking of someone ripping, check the the 'tomicskier form.
  21. Tanglwood was going to cost me $39 i believe. That was a little crazy, especially to drive in the rain or ice. I'm doing it though, i've been wanting to race, conditions weren't that great. I'm leaving powder for the race course, so i'll be there skimom, are you chickening out?
  22. there are certain people (skidude) that will not quit bitching until i race, and plus it's at my home mtn, im familiar with the trail, and of course, to smoke you.
