  1. Mr. Solum Canis Lupis is seriously underselling coming soon.

    Imagine a cobble stone street set by dead heads still tripping balls from the 70's. Everything is everywhere and none of it makes sense,  like what turn shape generated that pile shape and why does it go across the mtn ?

    I went there first run........Spring skiing is catching a falling knife and I bounced it off my hand and stabbed myself in the dick.

    It is great fun and some stuff like lower main and dis were actually good but rotd to coming soon.

  2. Rode from 1030 to 1230, nobody was home except c1er and some old heads.

    So windy, like zero speed on challenge windy but otherwise very nice out.

    They blew last night only in dumb spots like Vista which was already deep and that stuff was glacial but everything else was nice soft butter turns.

    Coming Soon continues on the theme and was particularly rowdy. Challenge had good turns but was so windy you never got moving.  Razors was much better as was lower main though there really isn't a reason to go over there anymore. Dis was most excellent as its 6 inches deep but NMDW was rotd. Deep base with good spring snow and lots to jump off of.

    They didn't seem to loose much,  maybe 3% depth loss which is ok considering the amount of water coming down hill.

  3. I had a call until 905 so I didn't make first chair, I yelled to TP4 when he was going to the quad but I was too slow and he was on a mission to crush razors. I saw C1er from the lift and 1/2 of the boom crew was there.

    No sun so not quite as hot as yesterday but very similar snow. Alas I regret to inform all that after a long hard battle Sidewinder has passed. Switch is holding down the tradition and it was top flight kinda conditions. Challenge was great as was Razors though in 4 tries I couldn't get a middle section without goobers. Someone said it was instructor training but they couldn't link two Chris Christie's together.

    Rotd was raceway, le chute, lower, with only the quad it was empty and I haven't ridden the loser lift in forever. Super super nice morning with old school crowds.

  4. Today was one of the best of the season for sure. Just so much fun to blast off stuff in the slush and it's been awhile since we had nice lot weather.

    Switch was primo but side was the real treat. Super good mix of brown, rollers to get air and hero snow to push the hammer all the way down. I could have run those two forever.

    Nothing better than coming back from the double dip to shrimp and chicken skewers. Today was a mad good one to be out of the hill.

  5. Tried chasing what I thought was the end on the radar, got absolutely drenched. The snow of course was super good soft serve but it was raining hard enough where it was hard to see.

    Big brown spots on side and upper main but otherwise they were doing OK.  Low crowds, mostly racers coming off the hill and newbs. Sidewinder was still pretty smooth and fresh but once i got the cold trickle from all the zips on the pants i retreated to the car.

  6. I rode this morning as I had to get out after a long week of actually working.

    Bfg crew was there otherwise alot of ikons. Soft with some stick where they blew, hard where they didn't.

    The chute lip is even bigger and first launch I was 33% rolling the windows down. Lazy I thought was the worst but as the sun baked things up it was all improving fast.

    WJW. Reminds me of biking near Bloomsburg, my friend and I sat along a rural road bordering a fairly large yard and some boomer bitched at us to "get off his property". We were literally doing nothing but resting. Freakin' boomers, the planet belongs to everyone.

    I think the nords have a right to roam law, I'll never understand why we don't.  Beach people get mad salty if you walk across their sand to get into the ocean.

  9. Today was one of the better days this season, side is fantastic with all the rollers, you can stich together like 7 airs in one rip.

    My favorite though is straight thugging switch and it was 90% excellent today.

    Coming Soon was surprisingly good as was main.

    While I can't lie the skiing is superior DV ain't got shit on shooting the shit in the lot.

  10. I thought today was pretty good all things considered though it may just be because I finally got to run switch.

    It was pretty firm first run down Challenge and I was sooo far in the backseat with the change over from UT. It took my brain 3/4 of the run to be like yeah bud you gotta get way forward.

    It got kinda full around 930 and it was alot more threading the needle but the snow was a touch softer.

    Mad good to be back and chill with everyone and super good to get switch and side.

    Forgot to add Ikon gives immediate spring access to Sugarbush and Stratton.  Epic does no spring access.

    Get an ikon if your good with spending the money, just go look at the intl destinations alone.........you could ride 42 days on the EC. Sunday, both sugars, Killy, Stratton and Loon.

    If your going to copper it's a no brianer, also check out the doughnut lady at the base.

    Excellent.  He'll surely make like 4x+ the salary doing that.  Shouldn't have waited so long.

    He's got massive small dick syndrome, he's got 400lbs of shit and like a plate carrier for the lot at blue. He looks to be out of shape with his big ass gut so already he ain't chasing shit but add in all his crap and he's like a security bag lady.

    He's nice enough but for sure is a 100% respect my authority type because that's literally all he has going in life.

    Are you staying at DV, or venturing elsewhere in Utah this time?

    Staying at DV with my family, I may get to Alta tomorrow depending on when everyone departs.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Only an inch or so today, mostly graupel but it was super nice to get some sun and actually be able to see what I was skiing.
    Ran like every groomer in the place, in the morning nobody was out and you could really rack up the runs. First thing was absolutely mint but by 11 some peeps were out and after lunch the big dogs where mixed moguls/ lovely lady lumps.
    Still super windy but snowing now and supposed to snow all day tomorrow.
