Just spoke to the Herminator.... It's still snowing at Elk. 3-4" today. He'll meet you in the lower lot around 8:00, no need to gather at 7:40 that's a little too early for him. Conditions are exquisite..... Should be a Good Day. Request to the Old Forge Pizza experts .... I thought I could pick up a tray of Red Meat Lovers on the way. I've never stopped before.... Can someone suggest a Pizza Shop? Also, will it be open Monday?

I'm at home... haven't skied in 11 days... furnace quit and all kinds of problems at TLCITW... frozen pipes, busted lines, sewer frozen etc. Needless to say very dismayed and disgusted. Since this is a weekday, and because you guys get to the mountain early, you should be able to park in the upper lot. You can unload your goods at the halfway house but need to park elsewhere. That is in the upper lot, NOT the lower lots. You will also be able to boot up in the halfway house, then ski down to buy your ticket at the main lodge. No need to ride the Elk wagon.
