I'll be there tomorrow for some more instructor training. Rollin in at like 4, which is when the clinic starts. Then Theres' a second one at 6 i'm doing too. What is this new feature? Hmm.... I wouldn't be surised if they threw the stairset in, or the swingset.

The pictures are pretty self explanitory, it's really not as hard as you may think. Just throw some wood together, make it strong. There is a box thread somewhere. The best(and cheapest- go ahead, prove me wrong) thing would be formica. They sell it at home depot for 50 bucks a sheet (4 foot by 8 foot), and it's a great sliding surface. Use black iron pipe for coping. Also, though i haven't ever seen it used- look by the paneling for this shit called "tile board". I was looking at it (20 bucks for a 4x8 sheet), and i think it could work.

The setup is beautiful

They had a shorter medium width box up top. Working down the trail, there was a tree jib. Down further there were two options- a narrower box, probably 25 ft, to the left and a down rail to the right. After this, there were two more options- a shorter box and a long wide box. Big boulder is kicking serious ass this year. It's good to see super nice setups, and on top of that, people maintaining them. The jibs are so smooth, i had an absolute blast tonight.

I don't think they mind honestly. If they did, they would have signs up, or they would have said something when i brought the beat rental ski back to the rental shop. (which was found....on the mt.) It's not like we're vandalising shit up there. We're just hiking around, getting pumped for the season.

Yeah, they have one of (if not THE) strongest snowmaking systems in the area. Good shit. Sean was a really cool dude, and like dbag said, is really interested in what the riders think. Bb is where it's at this year.

32 isn't cold enough, because it's pretty humid out. And plus, even if it is cold enough, which it probalby is, the webcam isn't even pointed at the trails they would be making snow on. They start on main street. The webcam is clearly pointed at challenge/razors.

The weekend of the 16th, me, NIFTYSHIFTY, and other heads (probably shadows) are heading up to ELK to make use of our vouchers from the warren miller film at NCC. Anyone else going ? What should i expect?

Actually, i'm quite sure that blue has the old lift set aside somewhere on the mt. I could be wrong, but i know for damn sure that they have all of the chairs sitting up in the top parking lot (the service road that leads to the warehouse, they're set aside up there close to the old groomers/snowguns. Yeah, probably about 25-30 feet Blue has new pics up, but i can't post the pics for some reason....
