WOW - Props Mark! Thanks for all the info. Please put me on the bid list for any dirt moving. -
I am taking Nips and anyone else I can fit in the H2 from the CB parking lot at about 6am Sunday morning. Who is in? Metz is running a shuttle from farther south..
-
I don't know his name but yes, I saw him at the USASA comp on Sunday. I see him in the park occasionally.

Cool! thats what they had ask be done at the public forum they had over the holiday. BC is really listening and concerned with their progression. Hopefully you get a nice reply.

Do you guys have 100% coverage? Cause if this warm spell keeps up....

I hate, to hate and do the silly generation thing.. but it is so frustrating with my own kids, just to get them to read directions or rules or whatever.. The majority of the complaints about parks are due to a lack of respect or knowledge of the rules.. no doubt...... I will concede one thing about that Christmas week, I called ahead and fully expected to not be allowed to use my off peak pass by the way it was stated on the website. So I called, I got a friendly answer that said my off-peak season pass was good after 4pm.

WOW - there must really be something that I am missing.. What is the problem with joining The PASR club team.? Why would anybody on this Message board who also has a Nastar number, not want to do that? (unless you are already a member of another club) MY thought was that if he can beat me on the Nastar course then he probably will contribute more points to the PASR team average than I do and then everyone is happy!
-
Not to repeat myself - but just in case. It was stated that there would not be ski school in the parks. That/those instructors must not be aware of this mandate. Be part of the solution and privately email your information to the contact info on their webpage. The email will get into the right hands.

And it makes it really easy to compare races between PASR members if you join the Club Team That sucks... Let me guess, your terrain park got bigger. I noticed at CB that they lose "new recruits" because they don't have sign up sheets at the start shack. There are quite a few people who pull up to the shack and ask, can we try it? The answer.. "NO, you have to sign up have your parents sign, and pay $5" Just to go around some poles??? So what do they do? They head over to another slope so that they can jump up onto steel edged playground equipment and fly through the air off jumps all for free.

Just another portion of a quote from someone well inside the racing industry.

Nipples can explain it better. He practices them on the tramp into a foam bit. the problem with the pop is going too inverted which is good for spotting the landing, but bad for your pass. There is a ton off stuff on NS in tips. some of it very detailed.

Pardon me, but a whore charges, I prefer slut..

MAD FREAKIN PROPS!! I HOPE BC IS LISTENING!! Pass your message onto the Contact email on thier website all of the mgt staff reads it. It was specifically stated at the public forum by your general manager that there will not be any ski school in the park. Don't hate just give them the approximent time and date because apparently one of the instructors did not get the message.
-
Cork a 5 first - it is more natural in the rotation on your landing. I am no expert, but on a 3 you come in blind that is why they are harder - so I have read and been told and observed. Nips goes off axis and it is ugly every time on a 3 - fives on the other hand give him massive shin bang but they seem smoother.
-
From the NextSnow Comp - their park is nice - good if not great manners overall and a unique rollie pollie thing..
-
Here you go Gurp - this is from the Central PA guys at Roundtopriders.com http://www.roundtopriders.com/video/Libert...sion_PartII.mp4

nooo - he told me that he is getting ready for all the spring pond skimming events. he wanted to make sure that with his speedo that he can achieve terminal velocity
-
Nothing really, but since the only way to race is with a clock and since once you register with Nastar and since he is a participating (wanting to race) member here, I thought I would add the caveat that he add himself to the PASR nastar team and contribute some more points to our score. No biggie. BTW - I signed up some friends to the PASR Nastar team. Some of you that were at the BC PASR day last year may remember AJ - well his sister, is a racer, and a USASA 1/2 pipe champ all at 5 years old!
-
Cool!! all the way from BC an we are not talking about Bear or Beaver! Keep the reports coming and send some pics!
-
Uhhhh - I called ahead and asked if the off peak pass was good and they said yes, after 4 pm. We skied there the night of the open park forum. We also skied there Xmas eve and there was no consideration of a discount. I am not positive, but I believe it says that the off peak is not good for certain dates and that they are listed.
-
Yes there are, because the race is about who is the laziest. It started over employees parking up top. I'll pay the $5 - hell, I would pay for preferred parking every day!! What do you get if you win? You get to tell everyone how you are not lazy and that I am afterall that is what this race is about right? It is/was your challenge. I don't get it.. Why would anybody want to race anybody with out a clock? Straightlining? Volkl wins I concede, I am lazy. Back Country I tell you what Volkl.. I have SnowCat lined up (Nips and Ridge are booked too) at Keystone for Feb 13th. Be there! If that doesn't work we probably could do something outa Steamboat for the end of March. I probably will be in Tahoe directly after the boat however, Crud skiing in Cali is not my thing, back country.... hahahahahaha
