Where is Justo - I saw him at BC last night. he rides at Blue
-
Except that European guy we got 2 runs with, holy crap, who was he?
-
so, your average day on the snow is 3 hours.....
-
Uhhh. misty moist stuff tonight and tomorrow and then it all freezes hard Saturday night then the 30mph gusts on Sunday will just blow any snow into the woods. I hope I am wrong. Skidude should like the potential Pocono slick conditions.
-
Have you gotten any more than 3 hours in one of your "days"
-
BC is great, but I call em like I see em.
-
Absolutely - you would be right up there with the others I saw last night!

Are you talking about the handrail? It had a 2 or 3 foot gap and yes, you could land well out onto the rail, but doesn't that show skill on a technical level when you launch out an on and then stay on it the whole way? Just asking, because one of the most frequent complaints that I hear at other rail sessions are no lips, no gaps and that rail had both. That quaterpipe was awesome, as the night progressed there was some really cool stuff being thrown on it. Who was the rider that launched it 8 foot up in the air and flipped what looked like twice?

Yeah - I got the idea from here. Not a bad way to get some obscure, rarely noticed thing, noticed.... BTW I glanced at your scores this morning. Good job! I am betting that you will continue to improve and will likely be the fastest on the PASR team that doesn't race formally. I hope you guys can race at BC and CB to even out the pace setter scores you are running against.. Alot of times when the course gets scraped off the times decrease! CB closed the course due to ice last sunday Good thing you guys weren't there.

It was a huge turnout. Props to BC - there was some really sick stuff being thrown. Sugary conditions are much better than rock hard pack. so I dunno. I thought it was really nice set up. Although the first jump was tiny and way to far from the judges table. I think it is time for BC to run those comps like the big boys. Age groups and an "open" category. Props to the girls who were there!! What novice can throw 3's ?? I saw experts straight lining and 50/50 ... Intermediates got screwed by kids corking this and that. It was all mixed up.. With the size of that turnout, for a weekday night - the format has to be one run.. best of luck!!!! go big or go home. Also - could there be an announcer that knows what the manuevers are or count the rotations? skiers going fakie? or 360 onto a box??

The red head tommy is just over 14 the other Tom is going to University of Utah next year, aspires to go pro.
-
22 HC's should not be pacesetting.. I think there is something about a minimum. The rules are vague, I know there is a alot of contention going on right now within Nastar - but then there was last year at the beginning of the season also. Race a lot. race different places. Handicaps will average out.
-
Now!! It fills up - if you ask they might give your the Jan 1st deadline discount . call and tell them Nipples sent you. COC - you will have so much more fun - guaranteed!

I will be at Mountain Creek on Sunday for what that is worth.

Bode's apology 1/12/06: "I want to come straight out and apologise to my family and friends and all the people who were supporting me along the way," Miller, the overall World Cup champion, told a news conference. "Because of the way I made these comments in the 60 Minutes interview I caused a lot of confusion and pain." And his time is 3rd now in Wengen DH training. Vertical? Conditions? Difficulty?
Papasteeze replied to lastduchess113's topic in Jack Frost & Big Boulder
The snow quality seems to always be good at JF and BB comparitively to other places. There is considerably less verticle and lifts are slow. A fun day is to get first runs in at JF and then when the crowds pick up, scoot over to BB around lunchtime. I believe the lift ticket is good at both locations on the same day. -
That cam is interactive and right up to the second. If you have a high speed connection it gives you a first hand view of the main slope - you control what the camera is pointed at - use the preset locations for the best results.
-
this morning from about 9:30 - but cascade is closed. At the USASA events (Bear is scheduled to have one later on this month check the calendar) - they have you raise your right hand to signal that you are dropping in switch.
-
This was from thier cam this morning. Locally I heard 60 freakin degrees!!

Top Secret Info! I have to protect my sources. Newschoolers in the regional section. Due the detail - I have no reason to doubt it's accuracy. Gurp can verify how current that info is.

You must register at Nastar, it is free - http://www.nastar.com/index.jsp?pagename=register Then select PASR as your club team and Camelback as your Resort Team - and then and only then, on a timed gated course (Nastar) If I beat you, the prize will be to hold a parking spot in the front lot every morning for 2 weekends until 7:45am for me otherwise - no race - if you win, I will concede that I am lazy and you are not and that you are entitled to park up front with out hassle from me.

So you challenged me and I accepted with terms.. Screw everyone else. Do you accept?
