  1. The gondola changed everything at Belle. It's skis bigger. I'll be in AZ a lot for the foreseeable future RidetheFirstStatetoSignthe DeclarationofIndependance. My kid goes to school there. AZ is awesome so all good there.
  2. Wow...I thought Belle's numbers would be the highest of the three. Turns out they're the lowest.
  3. Sounds weird in the skison thread but booked AZ for December. Hope Snowbowl is good early season.
  4. If you're night skiing, BB will get old quick...unless you're into park skiing. Blue is probably twice the size. Like GSS said...Blues lifts (when operational) are high speed. JFs lifts move at a snail's pace. Supposedly Vail has a plan for that though. Trails at Blue are longer and more interesting. Theres nothing like Nightmare Dream, Sidewinder, Razors etc at Frost. If you're from New England you'd probably appreciate the twisty turny stuff Blue has. To be fair. Frost has better snow. Happy land (challenge glade) is unique to this area and lots of fun. If the off trail stuff on East Mountain is still a thing (elevator, risk it, mad trees, e glade etc.) that too is pretty cool but supposedly they aren't maintaining that stuff anymore.
  5. He was very meticulous. Didn't rush through it. I felt $10 was warranted.
  6. Oh to add to my TR... I paid with my phone. I love it when I pay with my phone the employees at the place where I'm paying (using my phone) are completely blown away because I paid using my phone. Next time I'll really blow their minds and pay with my watch.
  7. Absolutely... Pulled into the lot around 7:15. It was about 73 degrees under cloudy skies. Conditions were great for a night sesh cut. Walked into the salon to 0 lines. Put on mask and got seated. Told my stylist that I wanted a #1 on the sides with a little length up top...he then asked me how I was doing to which I said good. He then went on to tell me how wearing a mask for 8 hours was rough...to which I empathised. 20 minutes or so later I was done. Paid and gave a $10 tip before leaving. Great night sesh. In fact was top 5 sesh for the season. Pic below...
  8. But yes...GSS makes everything a Blue thread.
  9. It's only a matter of time. I was once a JFBB passholder, even an instructor.
  10. Got my hair cut for the first time in over 5 months tonight (not counting me cutting it myself). Feels amazing.
  11. Chair doesn't bother me as much. A packed gondola with people I don't know does. You can work around that at WF though. At Belle however the gondola is almost a necessity.
  12. Interesting...
  13. Only reason why I'm waiting to book flights to AZ in Dec. Who knows if I'll need to get out there sooner if things start shutting down again.
  14. In the event that anyone is planning to fly this skison. From American... We’re proud to announce that American Airlines will be the first airline to start treating our planes with SurfaceWise[emoji2400]2, an EPA-approved antiviral solution, in the coming months. This breakthrough coating provides enhanced protection by the sustained killing of 99.9% of viruses, including coronaviruses, on surfaces. How it works: When sprayed on surfaces, SurfaceWise[emoji2400]2 forms an invisible, long-lasting barrier that physically breaks down and kills virus cells. A similar type of solution is already being used in hospitals due to its proven effectiveness to reduce the spread of infection. The highly durable coating remains effective even on high-touch surfaces like seats, tray tables and armrests, and through frequent cleanings, which we do after every flight. All-around clean: Our Clean Commitment is our promise that we’re taking bold measures to help ensure your well-being when you travel with us. With the addition of industry-leading products like SurfaceWise[emoji2400]2, you can travel with peace of mind.
  15. Had lots and lots of fun days at Frost doing just that.
  16. Amazing how this mofo looks exactly like a leaf...most likely to protect it from predators. Nature's cool.
  17. They're very confident that there will be a vaccine in February.
  18. Live shot of weekend skiing at Camelback.
  19. Phillycore (and a few others) jumped into 2 feet of snow. What a day that was.
  20. Doesn't he always call it the second best mountain in PA?
  21. My daughter tells me that there aren't a lot of kids on campus.
  22. Of course
  23. Crowds this season could be much different than what we're used to seeing.
