After the ceremony they played "Life is a highway" and while a sane me thinks that song is cheesy as hell...in that moment I was like let's fuckin go. Lol. Funny because some of the other parents did the same thing.

In through the tunnel and onto the in field. Through the infield out to the other side of the track and parked in front of the stands facing the pit area. Out I went from there, around turn 1 and turn 2 through this little exit that took us out to long pond road. So I didn't get a full lap but enough to have a blast on.

I mean it's definitely not UT or CO, but its it's definitely not PA either.

I was so high on speed that I forgot to check the speedometer. Lol. I did make sure to take turn 1 high up against the wall. Best part is my wife recorded it and was screaming "go go go" the whole time. Another pic for BenM and JFSkiDan below.

Yeah that's pretty tacky. They've been talking about building up there forever.

Top of Flagstaff Mountain in JT. They call it "Free 100 mile view". I'm not sure why they don't just call it 100 mile view or something else. The Free makes it sound like views typically come at a cost...which they shouldn't. Anyway if you've never been up there check it out before it's gone (they're going to build homes up there). Probably one of the best views in the area. Can see down into Bethlehem (sands / steel stacks).

Why would you think that? I mean It was fun being a kid in the 80s and there's some great stuff that came out of the 80s from a pop culture perspective...no doubt. But even a 10 year old Ridgeracer would've told you that REO Speedwagon is trash. The best decade for music in my humble opinion was the 90s.

True but I like to do my trolling on a more micro level. I learned from my Dad who did it best when I was a teenager. He wouldn't put the cool shit that he listened to on when I had friends or a girl in the car (CCR, the Beatles etc.). He'd opt for Italian opera shit or something like that. At the time it bothered me especially as my friends laughed but, looking back, I appreciate his methods and thank him for it as he taught me the ways.

Haha. Dont want to do anything too stupid since they're broadcasting the thing on TV. just trying to get around the entire 2.5 mile track if I can somehow swing that. My daughter is driving separate and parked somewhere else so I'm thinking I roll in and I'm all like "shit where do I park...maybe it's down here"...then 3 turns and 2.5 miles later I finally find the parking area. In all seriousness, not sure I want to embarrass her too badly on her graduation...if it were up to me the TV broadcast people would be like "why is there a dumbass parked in the pit area pretending to put air in his tires really quickly".

Apparently at the graduation, the diplomas are going to be handed out on victory lane...isn't that where the drivers do donuts after they win?
