I'm certainly not going to CB because I'd rather ski the septic bump in my backyard, but he or she has a point. Each of those are legit gripes about Blue. PS...I'm likely headed out tonight. Have a feeling it'll be a legit night sesh.

Decent day. Snow was ok. Lift situation sucks. I'm not sure why it's been so difficult to keep two functional High Speed lifts running at the same time this season. First run down challenge and second run on sidewinder were beautiful. Upper switch, when it opened, was a rock quarry then magically transforned into a carpet on the lower half of the trail ...only at Blue. NMDW was closed as was Razors which was being groomed out. Upper Main was nice. Lower was not so much. Overall a decent day. The bright sun came in clutch as it was crazy cold early on.

Terrain is similar. Elk has better snow / grooming, less crowded. Blue has much better lifts.

Why can't it just be "hey guys...wanted to let you all know that Mountain Crack has a great deal on pass prices"? Instead it's the typical jab... Went to bed last night to snow. Woke up to wet outside. This winter is trash.

Always a pleasure Rummy. Good to ski and have a beer with you guys. Definitely needs to happen more often. And there's a ticket with your name on it if you ever want to ski Blue.

Saw a deer and doe run across a trail. Headed over to the East side. Conditions are still excellent.

Took a few runs with Rummy and the Hermanator. They're headed to the East side then the bar. Still hanging out over by Tunk. Carpet like in plenty of spots still. Just a great freaking day out here. Top 5 of the season according to Hermanator!

It's definitely not Vermont. But it's definitely not Blue either. I'm not talking about terrain... Moreso the weather, temp difference, grooming / snow, lack of crowds, vibe etc. Terrain is similar. Each are good in their own way I guess.

Arrived not to long ago. Conditions are Western groomer / carpet like. No snow at all along the roadsides from the Poconos until about 2 miles from the elk entrance where everything's covered in white. Suns out... Guns out. Should be a fun day As you can see it's packed with people here. Lol

Worked late... sorta. Sounds like I missed a solid night sesh. Low crowds and great snow under the stars at Blue are my fave.

No worries on the ribs. As long as you guys are there and we can ski. That plus I'm really looking forward to a change of scenery.

If it's any consolation Douglas it worked. I'm looking out the window at rain so to know my destination for Wednesday is getting snow at the moment definitely raised the stoke levels slightly.
