Tonight has been quite enjoyable and coverage is actually pretty great for what's open all things considered. That one area in airheads pic is probably the worst of it. No cookies semi-soft but sticky kind of snow not bad at all. Not crowded but it feels kind of crowded because most people are hanging out on either nightmare dream or razors. Just did a Burma run that was actually quite enjoyable maybe my best Burma run of the year LOL

How is coverage?

Nah. I've done enough going places over the last 6 months. Plus gearing up for Arizona in May. Gotta shift focus. Even if I wanted to getting a room in lake placid for the Eclipse now isn't happening. Eclipse day the plan now is to drive to Syracuse. 2 and a half hours away and in the path of totality still. That's the move

I'm just happy there's one more weekend. Don't feel right calling it a ski season on March 17. March 24th is way better. And Belleayre of course is always a possibility after that.

Hell yeah! The thought of paying $65 to ski at big boulder this weekend wasn’t sitting well with me

Power pass dropped today. The midweek pass at Snowbowl is such a good deal this is so hard not to do. If you include purgatory, Brian head etc it goes up to $300 for 4 days. But how do I not park it in Flagstaff and ski there for fifty something a day. Way cheaper if I go out twice again next season. Weekday access to Arizona Snowbowl. @Johnny Law said it best when he likend skiing tonight at blue to Ponce DeLeon exploring the high seas. Every single run was navigating... around some sort of bare, brown, rock, stone you name it. Some spots required a leap or mandatory dirt. I can't recall seeing blue this thin. Still fun no doubt, but a definite sense of relief, when done, if you and or your equipment made it out unscathed. That kinda night for sure

@Barb thinking about an AZ / CO trip next year. Durango is only 5 hours from Flagstaff. Purgatory is on the same pass as Snowbowl and Telluride is 5:45. Not sure how close that is to you.
