Woods right of nightmare for maybe 200 yards to bottom of dream Weaver. Am I at Blue? I saw the quad line. Looks a little thin. Some people are jumping off a tiny cliff off of paradise. Fog has lifted. Blue sky above

Unfortunately I came across a major spoiler inadvertently. Watch the men's slalom tonight.

It's blue. They ripped off the trail name I guess. Just skied blue baumer across lazy through some more woods to about the mid way point of switch back. Skigazms galore.

Rain has ended. 34 degrees and foggy at the top. Snow is soft, spring like conditions. Not crowded at all, a few presidents week gapers here and there Should be a fun day.

Doh! I assumed it was a HSQ since they call it the Visions Express lift. Not cool to call it "express" when it's not really.

Greek Peaks glades are supposedly prime right now. They cut a new one this past off season. They also put in a new HSQ for this season. Barring something crazy, I'll be there on Wednesday.

They have a "ski PAs best" billboard placed strategically right next to the exit for montage mountain road... Now if only they put that much thought into their website.

Nice report TNT. Going to Elk after all of this snow is like taking Fat Bastard to an old country buffet and not letting him eat. There are tree lines there that look sick but they are within view of the all watchful eye of patrol. They're like Sauron from Lord of the Rings. I do like the hill though.

Why wouldn't she interview Weibrecht? Lake Placid guy, barely made the team, wins silver. Cool story.

Jfdan and myself arrived around 9am for our morning lift ticket deal (possibly the best deal in all of PA skiing.) literally parked slopeside by the quad. Took a run on smoke to the long haul then meet Schif at the top. Schif showed us some real cool off piste areas which were fun as hell. White lightning was ok, slick in spots and the bumps have apparently been mowed down recently. Still skied it a few times cannon ball was great for speed. We ran the full vert a couple of times via the long haul which is something new for me since I've pretty much hung out on the quad every time I go. The snow was great as usual. Just a great day today. Pic of white lightning below
