  1. It is kind of scary sometimes how he remembers everything about everybody.
  2. I would say "it's still skiing" and suck it up if there were no other options. But with frost, blue, montage and elk in the area, I'll pass. Back to Bear...
  3. apologies in advance for the thread jack. I'm always kinda excited to go to cb and use a freebie or whatever and I always leave annoyed or disappointed. Whether it's traffic on 80, shitty snow, the tourists who can't ski riding a roller coaster, the yellow jacket ski police, neon skis, Justin Bieber blasting etc. Blues vibe, trails are light years better. Any way back to Bear Creek.
  4. All day on weekdays, and after 4pm on weekends. I thought about it but an entire season there would make me insane.
  5. Umm. Agreed. If you don't mind roller coasters, water slides and higher than the norm out of control tourists Camelbacks 199 dollar pass has the best value in the area.
  6. Definitely not. I took care of that over the summer.
  7. I'm fairly certain that he is. It became a job for me and I always said that if that happens I'm done. Plus it's a commitment that would be extremely tough with a newborn.
  8. Thought a lot about it and it's official. No teaching for me this year and more skiing at Blue on weeknights. Mbike post up when your ready to take sign ups for your ski club deal. I'm on that shit.
  9. My bad. I didn't see the full season pass deal he was offering.
  10. Mbike does a 6 day dealio at Blue for like a hundred. Seems like a better deal.
  11. Nice. A few years ago before my house became daddy day care and I had time to actually do things, I purchased PAPeaks.com. Wanted to make it a everything outdoors in Pennsylvania forum. Never really panned out. Now I post here and just let others do the work for me. ;-)
  12. Ride Nice TR and blog. Idea...How about linking PASR from your blog?
  13. I actually have to agree with the first sentence (not the second). You can't control who signs up on an Internet forum. I'm sure there are crazies on epic too.
  14. They posted this on their website. Park City Mountain Resort is confident it will operate business as usual for the 2013-14 season, its 50th anniversary. Talisker Land Holdings, its landlord, has stated publicly numerous times that it will not interfere with Park City Mountain Resort’s ability to operate. In the unlikely event the Resort is forced to close for the 2013-14 season, the Resort will refund the full season pass price paid by holders of 2013-2014 season passes. If the Resort is forced to close for a portion of the 2013-2014 season, the Resort will prorate the refund based on the period the Resort is closed.
  15. It's labor day weekend and I'm thinking about winter. What are your early plans for the upcoming season? Right now I'm thinking about living the VinnyV life this season and hitting a ton of different places on the cheap (WNEP card, Montage deals, $25 lift tickets etc). I definitely want to ski more RAW sessions at Blue. It makes sense since I drive past the entrance to and from work for the past 5 years. And I of course can't wait to ski the endless powder on the Elevator. Ski trip wise, I'll have to discuss yet another dollar menu trip to Utah with Phillycore and JFSkiDan and for some reason, I'm really thinking about Stowe. It's the only major area in the East that I havent been that I really want to. Whats everyone else thinking?
  16. Seems legit. How's the food? They seem to have good specials and most importantly Thursday night is "Yuengs and Wings" night. I'm intrigued.
  17. Oh Damn. Talisker isn't making many friends in Utah these days.
