    Deals at Nestors

you should be hearing something pretty soon. with our shop not being setup yet in WH and the amount of preseason tunes, mounts etc all going to one shop things take a little bit longer than when both shops are operating. And like Justin said, preseason sales are still to be had until oct so get your asses in

    Nestors-Whitehall

We're already taking in tunes. for now if you bring them into whitehall we're sending them to quakertown. Everything is up and running in qtown. like skifreak said, we should be rolling in whitehall for labor day weekend
  5. is it invite only or pay ten bucks and ride. I've heard different stories. Anyone know for sure whats up?
  6. We've got Ride, K2, Burton, Nitro, Salomon and Rome. The Rome's have yet to come in. For Bindings we've got Ride, K2, Burton, Salomon, Rome and Technine. Again rome and T9 have yet to arrive. And boots are Ride K2 Salomon and Burton. If your cousin needs some advice or anything have him send me a message or stop by the shop.
  7. no prob, if you are interested stop by nestor's quakertown this thurs-sun. we have leftover salomon f20's through f22's at 30% off and new stock at 15% off.

Nestor's will for sure. I've been setting up the snowboard shop all week and saw what ski's are out in the ski shop. probably about 9-10 pairs of '05-06 twintips and a bunch of last years leftovers. lowest prices of the season. as far as snowboards go, 30% off last years, 15% on new stock, 40% off last year's outerwear and 15-25% off this years. I think the ski dept discounts are a little higher the snowboards, but not 100% sure. hit up the sale this Thursday-Sunday. (in quakertown)
  9. Any salomon Fusion Series Boot is the way to go. They are the closest thing to riding in a skate shoe. Way responsive, Way comfy. They have a quick lace system that blows boa's away and unlike boa's has a lower and upper half so you can still custom lace them instead of tightening the entire boot. They also reduce the footprint on your board by a whole size( if your a 10, the boot will look like another companies size 9). Come to Nestor's to check them out( sorry for the shameless self-promo) Don't get DC's unless you want a super bulky and heavy boot.

    fast boards

K2 disciple, rome design, ride #4, salomon era
  11. this years nitro's mark frank montoya comes in a wide. sorry i forgot that one before since you said more all mountain, the k2 nemesis, ride decade wide, burton baron. i'll see if i can think of anything else we're gonna have in the shop next year let me know if you actually want info on any of these suggestions
  12. oh yeah, a couple more things. I have a set of thule aero feet (400xt), fit kit for either jetta or golf IV (#2047 off the top of my head), and fairing (871) all were on the car for less than 1 month before I was hit by a semi. Now none of it fits on my subaru
  13. I wouldn't go the timeless or disciple route if i were you. both of them are going to have narrow waist widths (especially the k2) here are some wide models to check. if your going to be riding all over the hill, some park, some steeps check out the flag from rome. another sick board coming out this year is the Scotty Arnold pro model from salomon. Those are both gonna be board that will hold up anywhere on the hill. IF your looking at the timeless though, check out the yukon, its the wide version of the timeless. oh yeah, check out the union from K2 as well later
  14. I'm gonna put these up on here before they go to ebay. '04/05 Ride Amp Snowboard boots, size 10. Ridden half the season and for you that means they are just broken in. They are the white ones. These are sick park boots that let you really feel what you are riding. sells for 220 retail, asking 90 obo '04/05 Salomon JD era. This board is a 159. This is an awesome all mountain freestyle board. The spaceage era constuction is Snappy as hell of hits, climbs the pipe awesome, carves and the holds an edge awesome. It was only ridden about 20 this season (only on trips out of state and the few decent pow days we had around here.) if you saw Afterlame this year, this is the board that josh dirksen rides check out salomonsnowboards.com for more info. Sells for 550 retail. asking 200 obo '03/04 Ride SPI bindings. Red I used these on my jib board this year and am getting rid of them now because the pair i had this year will become my new jib board bindings. These bindings are burley. They are super responsive. all hardware is still in good shape. sold for 220 in '03, asking 70 obo Oakley wisdom snow camo goggles with persimmon lens. asking 40 obo If anyones interested send me a pm or email me lwd84@rcn.com. i'll consider any reasonable offer
  15. two things... first, wolverine, the numbers have nothing to do with warmth...the first number tells you waterproofness and anything under 5k sucks. the second number is breathablity. same rule applies. for good gear thats gonna keep you dry and breath well start at 10K. warmth is all up to how well you layer second...
  16. I've gotta work justin, since i took off for the Bear Jam I can't afford to take another day off.
  17. Whats happenin Justin. I'm not in Q-town. I'm not working for them over the summer. But i'll be back in the fall. I've got your number, i'll give you a call if this thing gets rolling
  18. let me clarify a little...in the past i have gotten a group of friends with trucks and we went out to the ice rink and shoveled the shavings into the beds and drove to our spot. to small pick-up beds (ford ranger size) was enough for a run in with a lip and a landing/run-out. obviously i don't plan on this lasting more than a few hours, but with alot of trucks and utilizing all of the rinks in the area(a-town and vicinity) alot could happen. I wasn't thinking anything outragoeus, but something fun could be made out of it. I work in the snowboard shop at nestors and have lots of contacts as far as reps and such to possibly get some product for giveaways. (maybe even the guy starting the company in jersey could help out .
  19. just tossing the idea around of having an ice rink rail jam in the near future to make up for what didn't go down tonight. If you have any ideas pitch them or if you'd like to help out organizing if something were to go down, post here or email me...lwd84@rcn.com
  20. I was up there wednesday afternoon talking to jake (group sales) and the snow they were going to use was from the triple side. They only needed enough for a drop in and run out and they had it on that side. At that time everything was moving foward. I don't know what happened, I'll try to dig a little further with some people. But cancelling it without rain first though, I dunno.......
  21. Straight from Jake at Bear Creek and their website, the jam has been cancelled: Due to the coming rain, THE RAIL JAM HAS BEEN CANCELLED. (Trust us, we're as dissapointed as you are!) We appreciate your support and look forward to seeing you on our slopes next winter. bummer
