Here's pricing I'm guessing. Studio-$150,000 One bedroom $200,000 Two bedroom $275,000 Three bedroom $350,000 Plus a management fee. Some of the nations cheapest slopeside lodging. I wonder what PASRs own real estate guru RideDE thinks of that.

I'm sure they don't even know and not even 100% it will actually happen. They talked about this 9 years ago and nothing happened and started building the water park like 3 years ago and nothing.

I'm thinking below the lodge.

A lot of their snowmaking gear is new. I don't expect the hotel to bring in much revenue for many years. Could be quite awhile until it's even built. Maybe they'll replace the vista and Burma chairs with another high speed quad also maybe build some new trails on their land to the east.

At sun valley Idaho wealthy people buy little studio condos at the base and use them for a close parking spot and storage for their gear. I assume if this was a normal hotel most of the rooms would sit vacant midweek but if it's set up as a timeshare then even if they are vacate most of the time midweek blue already got their money. When they talked about 100 weddings at blue last summer, I imagine there were an awful lot of drunk drivers. That in itself is reason why this hotel/condo complex is a good idea. I think it looks ok. Customers have the choice between using a fancy lodge with old bathrooms and no urinal dividers and steps to go up and down or a single level lodge with modern bathrooms, urinal dividers and no steps.

Time shares are terrible investments. For what you pay for a time share you can just go on a lot of different vacations and stay at different hotels.

Right on haven't been to Shawnee since I was 8 and that was to go to Shawnee place with camp.

Doesn't Shawnee have on site lodging. I know someone with a time share there.

I like the base lodge it's very much functional has nice bathrooms a decent cafeteria, vending machines and even a bar. They already sunk a ton of Johnny cash into the top lodge and slopeside grill I think the base lodge is fine. I think they even have one of those claw machines by the tickets. I still want to go into the tents.

The construction will provide jobs plus the hotel/condos will also provide employment. There might be a few more people on the slopes at 8am on weekends though.

I don't know I'm really happy about this because this will help cement a successful future for Blue mountain. Plus when they have weddings there's absolutely nowhere for people to stay.

Wow they are gonna have kitchens. Is there even a grocery store nearby?? I guess Millers market. Four star sounds pretty swanky. I wonder if this will be open before the new water park. Big things popping at Blue. Doubt it. Like 9 years ago there were posters announcing condos being developed at the base and nothing materialized. Are these new condos gonna be on the patch of land below the lodge where skiwee used to be???

You can do it...will be the first time I get to ski with TP4 this season and second time with VTMark. Maybe atomic Jeff will wait for you boys to strap in.

Hey all, It's almost another weekend. Who's gonna be up at Blue mountain?? I'm planning on skiing tomorrow afternoon, Saturday morning and Sunday morning. Was gonna go today after work but freaking tired and not feeling it. Ski everyone this weekend lets hope the rain ends before Saturday's opening.

Damn I imagined her being some trophy wife who doesn't work and always has Sunny Delight in the fridge for all the neighborhood kids.
