  1. Oh Lordy I wonder if we showed up on the drone footage in the lower park!!!
  2. Thanks I have some PSIA drills to do tomorrow.
  3. Yup I had a lot of respect for those guys even though they are snowboarders.
  4. Hey all, I'm back from a fun day at blue mountain the true mountain. It was uber bright on the drive up and I rocked out to the horse with no name song. Was an inversion 37 at top entrance and 31 at lower lot and the cleaning crews were out replacing garbage bags and making everything clean. In the house were NMSki, Johnny law, JFDan, Indiggio, MBike bike, Mrs. Snowbunski, Nastar Glenn, Justo, Rose, Pilot Doug and many others. First civilian six pack and a super fast razors actually pretty smooth and Indiggio got major air off the rollers. Next I skied challenge and similar conditions, nightmare to dreamweaver had solid cord and was midwinter fast and I skied a fairly clean run on switchback which is always a plus. Lazy mile was rowdy with some narrow areas. Second run on lazy a snowboarder in front of me ate shit. Main Street was alright but some small cookies..paradise was the run of the early morning with smooth surfaces and some corn and fast snow...woo Lift rides were entertaining as always and a bit off color and NMSki said a little 112..not bad I give it a 7 out of 10. He'd get a rowdy applause at karaoke. We hit the lot around 10:10am after 14 runs. I drank some dirt wolf and New Mexico beer then back on the slopes for another session and had a lift beer and NMSki tested out the grass on the side with mixed results and an involuntarily binding check. Flew down switchback was nice..nightmare dreamweaver was good but best of all was Razorback woo..best corn on the hill..as it didn't get much traffic and was baking in the sun. Was a glorious surface. Then after 5 more runs for a total of 19 back to the lot for Hop Ranch and some party mix in 60 degree temperatures. As Ice cube once said...today was a good day!!
  5. You bastards some jack hole admin deleted essentially all my old posts. Pissed me off as when I'm bored in the summer I like to read my old reports. Shit all my posts going back to the late 90s are still in the ski Vermont discussion list archives.
  6. Nice Liberty bowl and Bavarian Forest are cool. I heard you can access the challenger terrain from Moonlight basin. Not dissing big sky. If Jackson hole is 100 big sky is like a 95 and Colorado is like an 80 Vermont is a 30 and blue is like 8
  7. I just woke up from a nap and I was chilly. Had to shut my windows. 48 degrees. WTF thought it was spring.
  8. Not as good terrain as Jackson hole!!! At big sky and Bridger bowl at least mellows out halfway down the hill...but a lot less people.
  9. NMSki totally inappropriate. Will a moderator please delete!!!
  10. looks ok based on the webcams. A shame they mowed down the bumps but new ones will form tomorrow when it warms up.
  11. In my humble opinion id pick up a pair of stiffer midfat carvers of around 175cm in length over the summer. You can get good deals online. I would say longer based on your height and weight but you are still learning so 175 should be just right. You need a more stable platform as you progress...you wanna do a weight loss challenge with me this summer???
  12. Wow well they don't blow the volume of snow that areas south of Vermont blow.
  13. What kind of skis are you on?? What length?? Yeah spring snow can be a leg burner and glad I'm not the only fat guy on here.
  14. Bottom lot three rows from entrance to lot to the left. Arrival 730 in line for six pack 750. Stop by the lot when you are finished for a beer. Snow tomorrow morning will be fast!!!!!
  15. Hey all, It's almost the weekend...anybody gonna be at Blue mountain this weekend? Tomorrow looks like a beauty..going from the 30s to the 50s and mostly sunny. Remember to spring forward Saturday night..we be mighty dark on the drive to blue Sunday with cloudy sky's and a chance of showers. Got my weekend dirt wolf and laying out my best polo shirt.
  16. Definitely not 70 but the 20th seems right. I have been counting. I like to count.
  17. Root didn't like when I posted a picture of poop last year. I pooped twice so far today. JLAW can log it.
  18. Lazy doesn't even look that bad in the picture just stay to the left or right. Wow just wow as you can see grooming in warm temperatures is no good. At least it will get down to near freezing tonight.
  19. They prob won't have everything open. They can also do some creative grooming or have runs open with thin cover signs. I've done spring skiing before where walking was required. Depending on the next few days melting and crowds blue could very well throw in the towel early. Everything is tentative although they have events planned for next weekend. How's the base holding up on razors and sidewinder?
  20. Reminds me of 2002-04 when I lived in Bozeman and frequently skied big sky. You ride the big couloir?
  21. You sure about that??
  22. Right on and post a report. Never seen a report from there on PASR.
