Times two I remember the good old days when blue would open earlier than camelback and stay open later. They can go all out but it's not gonna last the xmas warmup and monsoon.

The blue run from the glen lift might be worth going up for. The greens nope...I want some fall line skiing. I remember the good old days when ski resorts opened with advanced terrain only. I guess it takes less snow to open up Herb routes.

Wow just wow hopefully they are still open on the 26th maybe we can do a PASR day...ill be at work Monday and Tuesday and in Virginia Wednesday to Friday. Very optimistic of camelback. I know poconoOceanCity believes the hype. No Marjies delight that usually is what they open with.

Tonight is gonna be cloudy and windy not good snowmaking conditions. Saturday night is the only night of good snowmaking the problem is that overnight lows Tuesday and Wednesday nights will be around 50 degrees and it's gonna rain so anything that is blown this weekend will melt away. Will be interesting if local resorts even bother to blow snow.

They will train on any terrain they can get open. Races will be cancelled as well.

Well maybe blue will be able to get a few runs open mid winter. I'm not expecting razors or sidewinder to open at all this year

Huh....anyway I'm just hoping for a good February and March to salvage half the ski season. Will be tough to wait another year to ski blues legendary terrain. Moms are fucking stupid.

Looking at forecasts and there's s small chance at 24-36 hours of snowmaking before the next warm spell. The ground is warm and wet..essentially any snow that was made before will be melted out before any snowmaking chances then after cooler weather this weekend it's gonna be warmer. I just don't think areas will be able to blow much snow in 36 hour max of marginal temperatures and high winds. Nice you are more hardcore than me.

How is Greek peak gonna be able to open on the 22nd???

Jackson hole passed the 100" mark for the season. I'm hoping for 200" more in the next 38 days. Supposed to get around 3 feet this week which should open up nearly 100% of the terrain. Currently about half of the terrain mostly the lower faces and double black is closed. The tram opens this weekend. I'm happy that my friend who's coming in on the 26th will have good conditions.

We've been super busy during the warmth and cemetery's are still putting in concrete foundations. We are gonna have almost all of our completed memorial stones out the door before xmas and then I'm off from 12/23-1/3...I don't know what I'm gonna do with myself besides go to Washington DC and SUJOPO
