Excellent news. Crested butte is the first Colorado resort I ever skied back in 2001. Snow was pretty low when I went during the end of a college winter break but would be cool to revisit when snow is good. It's pretty isolated from other Colorado resorts and like 5 hours from Denver but you can fly into Gunnison I looked it up its actually a four hour drive from Denver airport but in the winter I still would expect 5+ hours. Summit county is an hour and a half to two hours.

Apparently it took my office manager 2 hours to drive up the mountain road yesterday at Sno for the warped tour. That's insane. Her kids got out and walked and beat her by an hour and a half. Cars were breaking down and people running out of gas.

There is some dealer holdback as well....my friend sells boats and there's much more fudge factor there. Another guy I know sells tombstones and he usually only gives discounts to rich people cause they are the ones who like to haggle. Most just accept the price. My friend who sells tombstones recently had a customer who wanted to haggle. The stone was $4150 and the customer said can you do $4000 and salesman said sure right away. Customer wasnt even happy with th discount due to the salespersons quick response. The salesperson told me that he would have gone as low as $3500 so the customer left $500 on the table. Last I heard the salesman was rubbing $50 bills on his tittys
