I didn’t see any ski pants I liked at Dicks. I’ll have to get new pants at true blue tomorrow AM when they open. Maybe even give up first chair... -

The couple traverses are better on skis but for people who ski and snowboard many prefer the snowboard for pow days. Jackson hole is just a cool ski town along with great top tier ski resort..i miss the old days when there were more sleeper powder days. -

It stays light outside late in JH when you’re there at least like 630 so might be worth it to fish if that’s a passion as well. -
Hey All, I’m back from a fun morning session at Blue mountain the true mountain. In the house were atomic Jeff, JFDan, Indiggio, Mute, Ryan, Toast, Slim, Johnny Law, PARidge, Antmans cousin(forgot his name), Justo, Rose, Salty, Bethlehem Ford Guy, GSSUcks, Ty, MBike Mike and many more. The temperature was around 30 degrees to start and warmed into the upper 30s but the snow stayed firm..I liked challenge, lazy and Main Street the best although none were good nightmare to Dream Weaver was closed and razors was as well. I think I’m gonna need to finally buy new ski pants. My fly zipper was giving me issues in Jackson hole and it completely was unrepairable for me except for some gorilla tape. I’m thankful my jacket is long lol and it wasn’t 3 degrees out. Switchback was also spicy woo..had a few beers in the lot and JFDan brought chips and antmans cousin brought donuts from yum Yums in quakertown which were the bomb deezy..was fun being back at Blue but also looking forward to better conditions.

1-2 miles..I don’t think there’s public access there. There are foot bridges and walking paths along the river about 8 miles south of Teton village as you head to the town of Jackson. It’s amazing that it’s not frozen with how cold it’s been out there. -
Finally a run to rival raisins ledge at blue.

I heard Jackson hole received about $70 per day used by Ikon passholder..smaller places like Alta get much less as their day ticket price in comparable less, they have less skin in the game. But the residual money spent across skiing communities by Ikon passholders is immense. There were 250,000 Ikon passes sold..somebody is gonna need new gloves or goggles or buy a cowboy hat and some $17 pitchers of beer...if I worked at a restaurant in a ski town I’d be thrilled by an influx of patrons. Jackson hole is the largest 2500 acre resort ever..that’s four square miles of skisble terrain and I’ve been at areas that claim more acres that seem way smaller. -

I’m looking at Colorado flights right now for mid April. Looking like direct in Southwest is about $300. Do I book or wait for something better. Should I wear my ski boots onto the plane?? -

Yeah but the 3pm on most weekends seems like a deal breaker. I thought you ski mostly weekend mornings/early afternoons.

Ridge the one guy we see out there only skis on days with 2” of new snow or more or the day after a powder day. He skis between 25-90 days a season depending on conditions. I have a lot of fun skiing Jackson hole when there’s zero inches of new snow. -
Is that the normal pass or value pass
