You got really lucky and hit it on the perfect day. Awesome for you. When I went the place was insanely crowded and snow was lacking. But the mountain is a cool layout. They know they don't have the vert so they made it wide and the open terrain is awesome.

Just got done my last shoveling for the night. Truck is loaded and ready for tomorrow morning. Praying the plows get out early enough so i dont have a 2.5 hour ride. 2 hours i can deal with. Totals here in the Bucks County from my place. 4 9/16" Shoveled the 2.5 that fell since the sleet ended and by the time i finished about 1/8th of an inch fell already. Wind isn't bad and the temp reads 26 degrees outside. Snow was pretty wet though.

I would love to drive up for an afternoon sesh but the roads at a clusterfck. And also I wouldn't feel like driving a 2.5 hour drive through the snow to come home. Probably going to be up for an am session tomorrow if the winds are fine.

Skied the knob a bunch while I was at IUP for a year. Glades never opened once and I thought it was a decent year for snowfall They do blow on Extrovert but not nearly as much as they should. Was always an icy death for me. With some natural snow though they have some nice runs. Slow lifts but still a fun hill and even when we got 10 inches of fresh stuff, still never any crowds. No major roads go into it so no one ever goes. Everyone out there loves Seven Springs. Unless you ride park, I never understood it. Long drive from the eastern side and I would say it isn't worth it unless they get hammered.

Have you been to KMart lately? I was there last weekend. The entire mountain was ice. Until this past weekend it was warm all day, cold all night. Frozen.

Vents or no vents? I like having the vents on my motorcycle helmet but on my ski one never had any.

Looking to pick up a new helmet for this season. Anyone have any thoughts they would like to share? Was looking to go Giro but open to anything. Just not this damn burton one i have now. Big and bulky. Sucks.

I am a fan of Brick House and Iron Hill. Both good. Also Na Brasa is a Brazilian steak house. Attached to it is Iron Abbey brew house. They have 100+ beers. Never been there but hear it's good.
