  1. this is my take. there is an Invite class, and only the invite class will include cash prizes. In order to be invited, you need(ed) to submit an application to be considered. 30 applicants will be accepted. Other classes will have product prizes and no application needed to compete. For the slopestyle, there is a qualifier on saturday to determine finalists (i'm assuming 10) on sunday.
  2. I'll be there. question though...i know it says that they're taking 30 applications for the open/invite class. Does anyone know how many they're taking for the finals of slope on sunday? If they don't get many people registered is there a need for the qualifier on saturday? IE: If they only get 10 or so entries for the open/invite class and (i would assume) about that many would have been taken for finals, do they need the qual?
  3. yea i was a fugitive for a while haha. big ups to johnny and boulder for putting on yet another well-run event. can't wait til next years!!
  4. yo dude, i've got a pair of brand new 08 Armada AR6's for sale. 300 for the skis if you're interested. They retail for over 5 bills. You could get a really good pair of bindings (Loox PX 12's/Rossi SAS12's) for under 180 in the preseason of next year, which would leave you well over 500 dollars for boots alone, which would be way more than enough for what you're looking to do. lemme know if you're interested.
  5. I was wondering if anyone from park crue could help fill me in with setup/prize info. I'd love to do blue's big air, but Bear Creek's freestyle weekend slopestyle event qualifier is the same day. Bear's comps have always been run well and setups have been great and i've had a ton of fun at them. I'm deciding between which one to do and the more info i have on both would help me make a decision. I haven't done a big air in a few years so i wouldnt mind doing blues, but as of now i'm leaning toward bear just because of past experiences in comps there.
  6. i have no idea what the sizes will be, i was just taking a guess so 40-50 may be completely off. I'd love 60ish footers, but i don't think that could realistically happen on love. either way, i'm excited. should be fun.
  7. boulders jumps usually have super nice take-offs. pop you up a lot, but not a real abrubt buck at the end like other jumps, just smooth transitions to put you up there pretty good. hopefully they build the landings on love real nice for this event. as for size, jumps on love are fairly small... i've seen them anywhere from 15ish to 35/40ish. i hope they get them up to 40/50 feet, with a smaller side option too.
  8. maybe it should be saying yes. you're due for some new bindings since a lot of your beloved atomic bindings were recalled
  9. aside from waxing/sharpening yourself, this is your best bet. 20 bucks and we most likely could have them done while you wait 15-20 minutes or so. If not while you wait, they'd be done for thursday. hope that helped.
  10. getting used to a whole new course/changing runs could be tough. i'm all for bigger features, as long as we'd have enough time to get speed dialed for good runs on the bigger stuff.
  11. I wana know the same thing, i hope there's 400K on it. those engines run forever.
  12. Title says it. Brand new, never mounted, drilled, skied, etc. Great all mt. twin. 116-84-106. Looking for about 3 bills on these. they retail over 5. Get at it!
  13. Great news. Blue has awesome jumps. I was up there w/ park crew today getting a look as a few others hit them, and they look really really fun. Three jump line, seems like decent spacing between them, nice transitions on the take offs and they go about 30-35 into 40-45 into 50-55. Here are a few shitty pics i snapped w/ my cell. I'm actually excited to be riding park at blue for once.
  14. went to the doctor today, no ligament tears. i'm just going to take a few more days off til it starts feeling close to 100%. i gotchyo gloves, call me or stop down.
  15. sounds like bear is shaping up. i can't wait to shred once my knee's better!
  16. sounds like the sidewinder rebuild should be pretty good if everything goes according to plan. ughhh this injury is killing me. i need to ski.
  17. is that you? as in...you happen in real life?
