  1. thanks, i didnt place with the run but i think i was right up there. but yea thats what sucks i dont have a backup board, so if i send it to the manufacturer, id be boardless for a week , i dont know if i could handle that haha
  2. ^^ yea, true that
  3. whats the BMT? was that that loud, obnoxious, arrogant group of stoners?
  4. so i was at boulder today warming up for the competition. so i feel pretty good and ive been having a good day of riding. soon enough, its time to go inside and eat and register for the comp and all that and i go to lock up my board. so im holding my board as i reach in my pocket to get my lock and ended up dropping it, it falls onto some other rental board that some moron didnt put right on the rack (its like sideways with the edge facing up, practically laying on the ground) and my board smacks into it, edge hitting edge. i utter a few swears and then look at my baord and see that it started delamming from the impact. i was sooooo mad. it was right before the competition and i have a board delamming, and the board is barely a year old with about only 50 days of riding on it. i was so mad that it had to happen right before the competition, and i dont think that this should have caused it to delam. i dont think im ever gonna get a nitro again after this experience with how they delam so easily. but i still ended up riding with it in the comp and did fine. but im taking it to the shop tomorrow to see if i can get a new one with a warantee or get it repaired. if they cant, then ill probably be looking into your ride kink that you have for sale xkinkrider03x
  5. haha but whats awesome is that my school (pleasant valley) got out early today and there was even a flake of snow at the school. its great how cautious our school is
  6. yea its probably better to learn 360s before 270s. thats what i did, i never even thought of 270s before i could 360
  7. well all they have up for tonights comp is boxes, so its a little easier to pull stuff off on them
  8. w00t w00t
  9. yea just bend your knees when your on the box/rail and wait until you get to the end. pop off as decent as you can and get the spin around. i find 270s on a little easier than 270s off myself also. if youre going to try them on, the first few times carve a lot into them that way you dont have to spin as much, it makes it a little easier to get used to doing them
  10. yea me and andrew will be up this week. craige will probably be there just chillen since he may have broke a few of his fingers yesterday, he went to ski patrol and thats what they thought it was, i dont know whats up though i havent talked to him yet and seen if he went to the doctor for xrays. he'll probably explain more when he comes on
  11. well so far they only have boxes out, so people were throwing down all tech stuff. for skiers, i know i saw one throw a 270 on 270 off of a flat box, i think some kids were throwing some switch 270s on too, but im not sure, i wasnt paying as much attention to the skiers
  12. yea but blue has, and has had all of their trails open through all of this crappy weather
  13. EDIT AGAIN** nevermind, pointless post
  14. eh its only a wrist, you can still ride with that as long as its in a hard cast
  15. yea it definetely sounds sweet
  16. so wait, are they boxes, rails, or both?
  17. one more thing: the more you do it, the easier it gets
  18. yea it might even help to go off flat based since your not spinning. that way its a little easier to stay balanced in the air. also, whatever you do, dont panic in the air. when your in the air just relax and try to set yourself up for your landing. one thing to remember is, whatever you do off of the lip is most likely going to affect what you do in the air. so just hit it straight, set yourself up for the landing, land, and ride away.
  19. yea i was there competing last night, fell in both of my runs so i was kinda pissed, but theres 6 more prelims so no worries. hopefully theyll have some better park setups for the next comps, in the beginning the park manager was there and apologized for such shitty parks and said that once they get some more snow and the weather gets better that theyll start putting the good stuff up again. public enemy did you place last night? o yea and if you remember could you tell me who placed for 14-17 snowboarders if you remember because i left early and didnt stay for the results
  20. haha, thats pretty ironic
  21. hahahahahahahahahahaha
  22. haha sounds a lot like napolean dynamite but yea man there was no reason at all why he should have tried to take your pass away. and i dont see why he had to be such a dick, there was no way of knowing it was closed. haha he deserved being mocked like that
  23. yea i havent been up there yet this year, but thats what i experienced from last year
  24. i also think a reason why some of their rails are so hard is because they have such poor transitions onto them. when i was there, they were horrible, barely built up, and eaten away at the sides so it was really hard to get on teh rail straight in order to stay on
  25. yea but im saying if they were a little bit wider they wouldnt be hard rails, i dont know if he was referring to them being difficult as in the shape of the rails or if they were too skinny
