I'm seeing that Blue is having a boarder/skiercross event on March 5. Anyone here thinking about going up and doing it? I think it would be something fun to do, so i might just have to head up.

Count my boys in.. They love that stuff! and they are good at it.. Have you tried the one at BC?

BC has a course? Where is it? That might be a good idea to go up there and practice a little bit before the race.

far skiers left (opposite the park side) banked turn to start - rollers in the middle decent step and typical at the end.. Guys help me out with the feature names.. I can't keep them straight.. Any how for what it is worth I had to pull up several times it scared the crap out of me.. You have to visualize gates.. But the conditions were really nice and forgiving Tuesday night..

i am doing it, i wanted to do the last one but it was the day of that big snowstorm so couldnt get up there.

ah man, ive got some decisions to make. there's like 5 competitions that weekend at all different mountains. im not sure yet, but i might hit up the boarder x

We are definitly considering going up.. Any idea of what the categories are going to be? I would imagine it would be age groups - Any way to pre-register? Who should I call at Blue? Questons, questions, questions.....

what time(s) is it and what are the divisons i would love to go. i'm one of the fastest peoples at bc boardercross. but i have work in the morning until 2

The course was nutsssss...it was my first bordercross, and I ride everyday and I was buggging out, the girl who went in the heat infront of me hit the top rollers which were like \ so steep, and tight..and went f'ing f l y i n g..they had to take her out on a stretcher

 

It was crazy <3 I'd so do it again anytime

Ridge came in third for the 14 and under category.. It was his first and he wa catching the bigger guys each time and told me he was afraid that he was going to land on one em so he had to sit back and misses a gate after the last jump and was DQ..
