chrisjur Posted February 2, 2004 Report Posted February 2, 2004 I think Rocket had its best conditions of the year this weekend. I took 4 runs in a row down it at 1pm, which is typically a big no-no on a snowboard, but it was just great.

Cliffhagner was Horrid i tell you, HORRID on friday. There was even a rock exposed on the right side. Im a fan of nice shapped moguls, but they were staggared with ice patches in between. I felt the rocket, and the Hump were nice on friday night
skidude Posted February 3, 2004 Report Posted February 3, 2004 OMFG You baby. If there was ANY ice on that trail I wanted to hit it. I looked crossed the side adn couldn't find any. I had to settle for a little patch of hardpack. I agree it was not great..Too much soft lose snow...NEEED MORE ICE

The racers get everything nice dammit. camelbacks quads suck in that they have no padding...the raceway triple IS the best lift on the mt, meadows being the worst, no padding or no leg rests

The worst lift on the mountain is Cleo because technically its not a lift anymore, just a big peice of metal on the mountain collecting snow.
