Mixilplix Posted March 27 Report Posted March 27 Arrived around 11:30 to 42 degrees and a bit of wind. Didn't know what to expect after Biblical rain and warm temps. Razors was ungroomed and had me a little nervous but found conditions to be firm with some grip. Kinda had to pick your way through the top section, but the lower part had decent coverage. Side has the bare spot up top, but when you go around the last bend the coverage is getting weak. NM/DW still has pretty good coverage. I never made it over to the Main St side so nothing to report on that. They must have groomed NM/DW and Side at some point cause the snow was pearly white and looked divine, but man was it super soft and super slow. Razors was RoD with its firm surface. C1 and Kurt with some of his crew in da house. 7
GrilledSteezeSandwich Posted March 27 Report Posted March 27 Nice report. I’ll be up Sunday for closing day for sure. Not sure about tomorrow AM…noon opening is weird for today could blue surprise with a little snowmaking tomorrow and Sunday mornings. Crazier things have happened. 2
C1erArt Posted March 28 Report Posted March 28 The pearly white snow is kind of sticky, so I tried to stay to the soft ice. Nearly did a face plant on Lazy hitting some flypaper. Curzy‘s cabin down to Midway as well as lazy were pretty nice if you stayed off the sticky stuff, and kept my skis on edge going thru a patch. Ordered some non-Fluor spring wax, to try out next weekend. Some moguls on skiers left of razors that I wandered into and quickly exited with most of my dignity intact. Overall a nice day. 3
