Stevo Posted December 5, 2006 Report Posted December 5, 2006 Fucker, once again, my laptop keys are barely accessible. yeahhhhhhhhhh
AtomicSkier Posted December 5, 2006 Report Posted December 5, 2006 yea, i posted this already blue kickin ass once again
Tyler Posted December 5, 2006 Report Posted December 5, 2006 nice, should be a good sunday for me, i'll probably get there when they open and leave around 5....who else will be there?
AtomicSkier Posted December 5, 2006 Report Posted December 5, 2006 I'll be there...7:30AM to ???? me too
Tyler Posted December 5, 2006 Report Posted December 5, 2006 i thought they open at 830? nevermind, 7:30 on weekends...
GSSucks Posted December 5, 2006 Report Posted December 5, 2006 all blue cares about is getting the 6 pack open
ColoradoHigh Posted December 5, 2006 Report Posted December 5, 2006 I doubt they will be able to open top to bottom for the first weekend. They have never done that. They onlyy open with the two Black Diamond runs, at the top, and those greens and thats it. I guess we'll wait and see

They are blowing on razors already which is pretty cool. I don't think they had a week of straight cold temps last year.. So who knows. I doubt they will even run the six pack until around Christmas time when it starts to get crowded and they have all terrain open. But who knows i could be wrong.
XtremeJibber2001 Posted December 5, 2006 Report Posted December 5, 2006 From the cam atm ... it looks like they're blowing on the lower terrain. I might make it up IF they have top to bottom ... otherwise it's not worth it ... unless they have discount ticks because of limited terrain?
AtomicSkier Posted December 5, 2006 Report Posted December 5, 2006 They are blowing on razors already which is pretty cool. huh? how do you know this, cause I highly doubt it. and, when I woke up this morning, they shut off the guns on home stretch, so I guess they're pushing all their power onto Main street/up top again.
XtremeJibber2001 Posted December 5, 2006 Report Posted December 5, 2006 and, when I woke up this morning, they shut off the guns on home stretch Think they'll have top to bottom Sat/Sun?
AtomicSkier Posted December 5, 2006 Report Posted December 5, 2006 Think they'll have top to bottom Sat/Sun? They need lazy mile open first, because they always do, then they need shuttle, lower sidewinder, falls, tuts lane, and home stretch open. That's a lot to ask. They'll be able to blow continuously from thursday afternoon until saturday morning, so we'll see. After that, snowmaking temps look iffy.
Rodeo Steve Posted December 5, 2006 Report Posted December 5, 2006 Yo, wouldn't Blue have put it on there website by now if they were going to open Friday. They have to put it on either today or tomorrow to let us know in advance. They haven't even updated the snowmaking progress or anything. I mean its obvious that they are blowing snow but they could at least tell us what trails and stuff.

ThinkSnow Posted December 5, 2006 Report Posted December 5, 2006 They did update the snowmaking situation, barely... just in the news section. I don't think they could announce it a day in advance, I guess we'll see. I may actually make an appearance on Saturday if they open

I think they've annouced it a day before in the past. w000t! make it final now, so there are no excuses come saturday
Rodeo Steve Posted December 5, 2006 Report Posted December 5, 2006 k, cool. Is it a for sure thing though that they can open Friday? Cause like everything else says December 10th except when you call their toll free number it says the 8th. Its a toss up.

Cause like everything else says December 10th except when you call their toll free number it says the 8th. Its a toss up. There is a dam good chance they'll open Friday, they usually always do, and if not, Saturday at the latest, as that will give them 1 more day of snowmaking. Opening the 10th would gain them no more snowmaking.
nick malozzi Posted December 5, 2006 Report Posted December 5, 2006 If they open friday, i'll prolly stop by for a bit to get a few runs in before i have to ref, but if they open saturday i won't be able to make it in until tuesday afternoon since i work all weekend and have exams all day monday and half of tuesday.
jsong83 Posted December 6, 2006 Report Posted December 6, 2006 damn, i wish i could go on friday but i have work. i will definitely be there on saturday and sunday. this is my first year going to blue on opening weekend. are they usually crowded on opening weekend?
ThinkSnow Posted December 6, 2006 Report Posted December 6, 2006 It's usually not too bad, you end up getting lines toward mid-day just because it's only the slow ass main street double chair running.
