Took this on my Sunday afternoon bike ride. Nuremburg, near Hazleton, is one of my favorite places to ride. Just rode through the town and took this while climbing up the hill.

One time @GrilledSteezeSandwich said I could go with him on a Skisafari if I take a separate flight and rental car, and stay at a different hotel. He said maybe we could have a 5 minute Zoom session at different restaurants in Silverton, if I pay him Three Fitty.
-
@GrilledSteezeSandwich said VT is off limits. Do you have different Rules in the kingdom of New Jersey?
-
Good thinking. I want to get to WF but I was just there in Sept so maybe NH. I've actually never been to NH.
-
I'll take a trip somewhere northeast too. Not sure where yet but I assume the reservation thingy is needed everywhere. I'd like to get back to Stowe but there are so many other places to ski that I haven't been to. Plus Stowe is so so far away.
-
After consideration I determined reservations probably dont matter as much for big ski trips. I'll just cancel mine if I get boned with rain or sleet.
-
What kind of restrictions do other places have that Big Sky doesnt? I've been assuming we're allowed to do whatever we want anywhere as long as we make a reservation.
-
I dont even know what that means. I gave @enjoralas a paper check for Steamboat and he said I could have sent money thru the Interwebs or something. That's neat!
-
Thanks, but I already found a good bargain on Craigslist where I wire $5,000 to a Nigerian Prince and then he wires back $4,900 and overnight ships me 4 lift tickets. It's such a grate steal!
-
I think Cottonwood Heights is where I'm going to stay. At Winter Park I was getting big bargains on Liftopia, but one day out of 4 the deal wasn't available.
-
I paid that one day at Winter Park in 2018. @Ski2Live Live2Ski was very disappoint. I think it was windy and they closed the lifts, so I only skied for 3 hours. Spent the rest of the day drinking hot cocoa in the lodge.

I'll perform rigorous analysis and calculation. It's a risk being locked into the pass but if the savings is worth it I might get it. Sounds like they'll give you a free pass for next season if you dont use it this season. Also credits given for covid closures.
-
TFTI. Couldnt justify that since it's over two thousand bucks, and I'll be there 4 or 5 days. Ikon Pass looks like it would work better since I can ski at rad places like New Hampshire
-
Do you mean the Ikon Pass? I'm thinking I'll ski 5 days in Utah and 3 days somewhere in the Northeast. So with the Ikon Base pass it'll only be $106 per day.

I decided I'm probably going to Salt Lake City the first week of March. I like that the hotels in SLC are pretty cheap and not that far from the mountains. I'll rent an SUV which is a little pricey but since the hotels aren't too expensive it wont be a big deal. I'll research the places discussed on here and probably stick to 1 mountain, maybe 2. Currently looking at Solitude. TFTI

This is grate! That's what the ignore button is there for.

It's all about the stats. Maybe if I stop complaining @GrilledSteezeSandwich will reinstate me as Junior Assistant Stats Manager in Training!

I wasn't even talking about Blue, I was talking about planning out of state ski trips. But ok!

No speeding allowed! I dont fully understand the logic of quarantining based on state lines. So hypothetically I can go to a crowded produce market in Philadelphia and dont need to quarantine, but if I go hiking in the Adirondacks completely by myself and come in contact with no one, I have to quarantine/test??? It should be based on population density or something, not arbitrary lines on a map.

I have 9 vacation days left to use this winter and I'd like to go somewhere. It's just hard to plan stuff with the rulez changing constantly.
-
Maybe a day trip would work then. I might want to stay in a hotel house though but I'm not going if I'm mandated to get a swab shoved up my nose afterward. TFTI
