This should be our next topic for the next round of surveys that come out.
Seems like the trash thing is much better, and i do think the snowmobile thing is better. not great, but better.
Dumpsters were missing yesterday so I wonder how long until they put them back and if they'll clean up the area around it.

Went up tonight 6-8 and had a kids night. Our trail list was Pdis, Lazy, and Burma on repeat and all the side hits they offer. Definitely a firm base with sugar but still had a great time. Crowds were mild and around 7 they disappeared almost completely. Nice to have it empty.
Guns turned on for Switch at 7 and looked to be the only trail getting touched for now.
Is there a gofundme for Blue so they can buy light bulbs? Keeps getting worse and every trail we were on have sections out.

Ah I see. I’m hoping montage allows uphill eventually too. I talked to someone there and they mentioned it may happen. That would be killer for the epic pass.
We were just talking this weekend at Blue about how they won't let ticket holders travel uphill during the day or an hour before opening, but let race parents walk in sneakers up trails and across Paradise without a lift ticket. Would love to start the day with some uphill.

Speaking of hi-vis. If Saturday does turn into a 60 degree day would anyone be interested in a double dip, ski and then bike?
I'm interested. Bring it up again in the roll call thread and we might be able to get a good group.

How does uphill work with Indy at Shawnee? Do you have to get your ticket first? How does that work if you arrive before ticket windows are open?
Need a lift ticket to be on the hill so you have to wait until the ticket office opens. Uphill is only during midweek lift operation hours so can't get on early anyway.

Can't make it Friday morning unfortunately. Unless Shawnee turned into Keystone with fresh pow as pictured, then I'm in.

Yes. Cost shouldn't matter when it's once a year and your making memories with nieces and nephews.

You should 100% go ski with the kids. Plus kids aren't know as first chair people so you can still go to Blue, have fun, have a beer or two, and then scoot over to Boulder to show them how it's done.
This. Then you can join us in trying to get 2 ski days out of 2 mountains on the same day in the stats.

Up Thunder and did amphitheater from the top, then we did Jerry’s way for Salty and Mute. Up Thunder again and another Laramie bowl which was even better but so many people standing at the edge like it was Corbetts coulour.
Can’t believe you grouped me with Salty. Probably going to have fight in the parking lot now

Sitting in Stanley’s at O’Hare waiting for my connection back home.
Great trip with great guys. Flat light seemed to be a theme but we made the best of it. It’s awesome to have the best tour guides Atomic and GSS to have the answer for every weather condition.
I did enjoy the unexpected room upgrade. Reserved the cheapest double queen room but ended up with a fireplace double queen that had lots of room for activities.
My legs are tired so I guess that’s mission accomplished.

Nice! Did you get bindings? And I have a question about the Look Pivots if anyone has an answer. Bought them last year at Blue and had them mounted there early this season. Unfortunately, the people I trusted there to work on my stuff are gone. Anyhow, the one is really hard to get my boot in. All the DIN settings are the same. I don’t think it’s the boot, because it does it on either foot.
I know there is some movement with the arms of the heel piece. I tried to stretch Pivots I had last year but I was asking to much and now Law shreds those Corvus'. You can turn the arms to loosen or tighten.

Today's conditions report says snowmaking on Yeti too. My kids will be stoked, lol
Your right, I did see that and forgot. The kids love that one.

Made it up this afternoon for an hour. Light crowds and good snow but they were blowing on Lazy and Midway which was insta freeze on the goggles. Tried to avoid that and stuck to CS and Pdis since they were good.
Upper Main was closed and they were blowing on NMDW. Only blowing on the upper head wall on Rzrs so guessing they’re just letting the rest of the trail dry out for the weekend. Saw @MattEDGEwas in the house but didn’t get to talk to him.- 6

I have people call my work weekly trying to get us to switch our electric supplier. They always start out by saying,”grab your electric bill” and I say if you’re calling from PPL you should have it. The last one the decrease was like a half cent per kilowatt hour. I said that’s gonna save us a couple dollars a month not worth it.
My bills are between like $70 and $120 so no need for solar panels.
I get them at work a lot too. "Can I speak to the person that handles your PP&L Bill?" is a common one. Always want you to read the bill to them so they can under cut it. New employees fall for it to hand it up the ladder but we pretty much tell them we get this call every other day and your not going to be the one to make us switch. I always tell them to remove our number from their list too but doesn't stop them from selling your number to the next "provider".

It was prob real icy and sugar piles?? I’m never a fan of later in the day on pow days…get in get out. Leave the sloppy seconds and thirds to the TDH’s
No sugar but plenty of scrap spots and the good snow was all rollers. I would have been happy with it being bumped up but I guess we didn’t get enough snow.
Blowing on Chute and Widowmaker was noticeably new to me while still hitting the same trails they had going this morning

Not according to Slim who posted on Blue’s FB that he took a core shot with brand new skis 😂 I skied it and found it enjoyable, even though I did ski around some rocks
I made it up for an hour this afternoon. All 3 lifts spinning with a light crowd. I got scared seeing the usually row packed until I realized the front was blocked off. Walked with the one lifties to the snow and he said the rumor is they blocked it off to save spots for buses at night 👎🏼 I did pass a bunch of tour buses headed that way when I was on my way home
It was all you can get soft serve this afternoon with dashes of sunlight for a nice time.
