Chic fil A has a great chicken Sando and nuggets.  I like Wendy’s nuggets.

I like their spicy chicken , they probably get the most of my fast food dollars .
Chick fil A is a well oiled machine! Can’t say I’ve ever had a bad experience even when it’s crowded. Very polite employees .

20 piece nuggets at McDonald’s went from $5 to $8.89 in like 1.5 years.  Wild

I don’t do nuggets at mickey D’s . They taste ok but too much grease and visually they remind me of particle board when I bite into them. I’m not a fast food chicken fan but a couple months ago stopped at a Popeyes and liked them a lot but they’re pretty expensive as well.

When I checked pricing was $17 but then dropped to 11$ during the week.

That's old school cheap and I spent more on lunch

When I was out over thanksgiving a couple years ago ticket and rental was $49.00

Lunch was chicken nuggets and water for three $45.00

I don’t know what their closing policy is.  Conditions or not enough revenue?

Haha the first and only time I watched red green was when I lived in Montana.  My one roommate was a big fan.

My wife was a fan she thought the mans prayer was great. Pretty creative stuff on a low budget. I like the episode where he turns an old bus into a cigar car.

My business partner has an old blue dodge van on his property. I’m going to get some paint and paint up a “Possum van”  when he goes on vacation this summer.

I renewed my Blue pass for next season earlier. I did the payment plan wanted to use last years and this years gift cards towards purchase but prob use them for a new pair of matching poles next season.

If you ski with two different poles they probably will never get stolen.
I don’t think I’ve ever seen poles bent in the way that yours were. Mine usually break before they bend in those funky curves.
You’re the amazing Kreskin of ski poles.

Renewed my pass. I can't see them opening next weekend. Been a good run, like @Doug said tho, i need closure.

Anyone have pics of these epic pants?

Also I'm not so sure the elk sale is a done deal, could be wrong tho. Old curmudgeon might have had an issue with lighting.

Lol , just found some on eBay

Looooooking mighty fine in them there pants son! Ain’t no way I could fit in my pants from that era! Funniest thing was I rode the lift with a rando who was very interested and asked if I was skiing with and knew the guy in the retro Descente pants 😬

great ski day skiing tele in the am  then swapped out the heels to run some bumps but outta synch with everyone so kinda weird ending to the season, did some grillage with the bfg crew and peaced out, later gator!

Lol , I barely fit on the last latch. The zipper doesn’t close 100% . Running the bumps I was hoping it would hold otherwise I would have them around my ankles in an instant😁

Saw that at rope drop. My wife was cleaning closets a couple of weeks ago, and made me throw out my Obermyer padded sweater I wore on ski trips together with her from the early 80s. Stretch pants went a long time ago.

Someone stopped me up to say I was the best dressed skier on the mountain lol . He went on to tell me that he saw something similar “ new” recently. Maybe they will make a comeback? I’ve got a theory that I ski faster with them rather then my baggy pants. ?

Nice to finally meet you in person.

felt cool knowing we were the only people skiing in the state of Pennsylvania today. Like we were part of an exclusive club. Lol

Likewise, your group likes to rip top to bottom.

  10. Bumps were firm early so a bunch of high speed runs on razors was nice. The wind tamed down considerably from yesterday.
Things softened up and the bumps got deeper than I liked  . Upper razors bumps were oddly spaced and pretty icy.
The crew was working on a second line when I had to bail around noon. Such a nice day and I wish I could have stayed till the end.

I went with my Retro attire today, 42 year old Descante pants and CB powder shirt.
Got some compliments from the “old guys “ lol.

Soft serve is the same as shit. No?

It was not shitty , speed governed through. Between the wind and soft snow I just about straight lined Razors. I think the third pic is my track I was second chair.

Skiers right was rice crispy treats, I’m always tempted not to ski between the lines.

Fun to be able to get up to Blue, haven't been there in a couple years.  Snow was actually quite nice what was open and not too crowded, 3 runs pretty varied for what they were.  I'm glad they were able to make it happen and did not expect to be skiing in PA this week.  Talked to a lot of people on the lift and great vibes today all around.

I do miss when they were open to 10:30 at night or whatever it once was.  Makes it hard to get up there with friends for a night session when they close at 8.

Regarding the "fly paper" maneuver, had a pretty good one at Blue Knob on a wet whale at the bottom of Extrovert onto runout this year on the tele skis - hinged head over toes for a straight up face plant lol.

If they are able to plow some of the snow from up top down over the thin spots at the bottom, I can see there being a chance the three routes could make it to Monday.  Tuts lane connector worst patch of the lot probably.

I got bored and did some patch hopping on that side, the cookies were extra spicy .
Before it got cloudy it was pretty nice.

On the razors runout at like 12:08pm somebody got owned by the sticky snow and he was ejected off trail.  When I was riding the lift..up he was still getting his bearings.  I can’t imagine somebody flying into that dirt. When it’s dark out they’re gonna go ass over teakettle.

I’ve seen people get “Fly Papered “ most of the time it’s funny but that one sounds more serious.

Sunday will be the real zoo with 9am opening unless they run another lift besides the quad.  Early afternoon was busy cause everybody began at the same time.

It’s not to bad , pretty much ski on .
Photo shoot is still ongoing, now a bit further down the mountain. Bombed three times 😁
