@AirheadD8 I heard the lights in the snowmaking cannons might be blinking. Maybe they’re booting up..I’ll check the webcams to see if the lights are on..41 degrees in the A right now and drop drop dropping prob like 36-37 at Blue and drop dropping some more

They should be able to make snow for sure. It’s always 26-36 at Blue in perpetuity 😜

Maybe tonight but snow on the lower mountain anything up top is chaff.

The liftees were grilling and had like five two liters and blasting tunes and they were acting like it was the final day but rumors of vista next weekend

    Denial then acceptance 😫

I haven’t looked at my stats all season until I renewed my pass . I’m happy considering the weather. Blue did a great job this year!

  4. Nice pictures all. I messaged Blue on their chat about the possibility of making snow this week but they said that a decision hasn’t been made yet. Anyone hear any news though the grapevine? Tuesday through Friday lows in the 20°’s

I’ve skied past 3 days. What fun! Folks were setting bumps all the way down Razors today. Lazy and bottom of Main not too bad. I saw the craziest thing, lots of folks poaching NM. I was on the lift and saw someone go head first into the big hole on NM, just below the jump. He was literally being held up by his snowboard. IDK what’s under there, but I was afraid he would drown The people in front of us called ski patrol, and we booked to the top of NM in case someone needed help getting him out. Turns out his friends got him out and they left. Then ski patrol came and were total Jack asses- threatening to pull everyone’s pass.

I was at the top of Razors bumps with Billy when probably 10 kids went around the fence.
It was clear that it was closed. Earlier I saw a patroller remove 3 poles from around the sinkhole as I would describe it if it’s the same hole that you were talking about.
I can’t blame the patrollers for threatening to pull passes but wondering why they pulled the polls?

Let it go. That run can RIP. Focus elsewhere

I’m not saying resurrect it but there’s a lot of snow on the top part that could be moved over to the top of the quad.
It’s getting thin between the quad and six . Razors is in good shape yet, it would be a shame to shut the East side down.

They better not close razors this weekend for the race team or for ski patroller training. Yeah now the more I think about it @AirheadD8 might be right they might blow some gak early next week and shoot for the moon and then people will quote an early 2000s movie starring Will Ferrell where he goes back to college and becomes some sort of space cowboy.

I don’t remember saying that but sounds like a plan , hopefully it’s not too windy when it does get cold next week . They need some love up top , getting a little thin, maybe they can scalp what’s left on coming soon.

I just received a text from Blue that they made snow on 11 trails.

One gun … The wind blew it onto 11 trails.

kidding aside not much help from the weather. Tonight might be below freezing but nothing till next Wednesday ☹️

I wanted to take the spicer line on the far right and ran out of snow and was already committed.  By the time I was back on the snow you and JLAW were already merging into lower Paradise which was wall to wall Chris Christie’s..rest of my runs were pretty empty…I give Airhead props…he motors through the chop..and I saw him bunny hop a bare spot like nothing..

I ditched my cousin and Paul early to take some fast runs with you guys. I can pretend I’m 40 for a while. 😁

    coming soon was extra special…..

Lol … @GrilledSteezeSandwich did a good job of staying upright. That first run down was no fall zone. In the afternoon it was a 1000% better.

Before I ran into the bumpers I hiked up Barneys and ran the tail end of the line. The Bumpers built a line on chute and we hit that a bunch. Razors softened up nicely, last run down challenge was heavy but fun.

The line was better after lunch even before the six opening.

Stayed till 2 , glad I played hooky today Pretty sweet but the weather is not looking good.

I wonder how old the skis were.  It’s amazing most skis last like 200+ ski days.

2016 Carnage on Challenge, had a nice bump  line on skiers left and someone cut me off. I bailed through a deep trough and pow!
Messed up the toe piece  too.

In my early teens I broke a tail just like @saltyants picture a long time ago. Ludicrous speed backseat landing off a jump.

Way to get after it, they’re open Blues not..what year are the vintage skis you were on and what length?

    Kneisel Magic star . 82/63/76 180 s

I haven’t been able to find much information on them. I found them at a yard sale 15yrs ago $15.00 still in plastic. I mounted some old tyrolia 350’s . There’s hardly a scratch on them. I’ve only skied on them three or four times.
