I’m looking at the temperatures and the timing and this is gonna be some wet freaking snow..I’m not hating snow is snow and this will be good for the base if it happens. Coldest temperature I see is 27 at mount pocono very early tomorrow AM won’t get much or at all below freezing in the Lehigh valley probably around 29-31 at Blue…so a temperature adjustment of a degree or two in either direction could mean more rain or barely accumulating Snain and snow.
The forecast I trust the most has an inch to a few inches falling by morning and 5-10 inches during the morning to early afternoon from south to north.
As of now the dewpoints are really bad…there will be hours of Virga but this could be a thumper…short duration heavy precipitation..
Yep , Nice bump weather but better conditions Wednesday morning .

Code red warning!!!
It’s never snowed here before ?
I had a customer cancel a afternoon appointment today because she was worried about getting home to Jersey before the storm. I told her it’s not supposed to start till later tonight. 🫤- 1

Manky earlier and getting better into evening and night I’m guessing. I’m tempted to dip into the woods seeing powder but I usually pay attention to where the manmade blows in prior to the storm so there’s some base. I think all the supporting man made is done . So “Stay out the Bushes”
Wednesday morning is going to be primo👍

Are you going out there to see your kid?
Unfortunately not this ski season. I think he’s getting transferred but not sure where he’s going to end up.

looks like things have shifted a bit south this morning. Might make for an interesting morning tomorrow at Blue. Maybe.
Yes, I think the storm totals will be revised upwards.

Tuesday 4” +~ A storm next Saturday and early next week followed by more chances 🤞. No guarantees but reasons for optimism.

Can’t say I blame him though, I view my skis as an extension of my body . He was pretty upset after hitting the rock. We had a conversation comparing new ski’s like buying a new vehicle., seems like everyones is out to get you.
I’ve been skiing with a core shot since the second storm that I got under the quad venturing off for some untracked powder. I felt the pain but it was worth the turns .
Hopefully I’ll have some time to fix it this weekend. -

Not according to Slim who posted on Blue’s FB that he took a core shot with brand new skis 😂 I skied it and found it enjoyable, even though I did ski around some rocks
I made it up for an hour this afternoon. All 3 lifts spinning with a light crowd. I got scared seeing the usually row packed until I realized the front was blocked off. Walked with the one lifties to the snow and he said the rumor is they blocked it off to save spots for buses at night 👎🏼 I did pass a bunch of tour buses headed that way when I was on my way home
It was all you can get soft serve this afternoon with dashes of sunlight for a nice time.
Core shot my ass lol , Some embellishment , I was skiing with him and he stopped an hour later and checked. Barely a flesh wound. Although there were random rocks all over the place. He has a point about that.

In the PASR row every car door is also a stall door!
I just refill my wawa cup. My morning ride is close to an hour so I just make it some days.
I made a relief system for when I fly I call it “ Polish Bagpipes “ Rubber roofing material bladder with a 1” vinyl hose, I haven’t filled it yet in a 6 hr flight. 😁

In that question mark area they should build something cool..maybe a Condotel with ground floor retail..perhaps an Italian restaurant. Sucks having to drive back to the valley for decent Arancini
That’s the yuge area roped off. You can fit fifty buses or 100 food trucks in the space 🙃
I’m old and park close to the mens room. Maybe I should hold off on the coffee?

Debating on tomorrow morning or afternoon? Ski fast or wait for Barneys to thaw . I’m leaning towards morning.

It's a beautiful evening. Orion can be seen in the sky overlooking the quad. Not crowded. Snows ok. Slick in between sugar piles. Not deep sugar thankfully. I'm Probably the oldest person here. In fact Two school group kids on the lift asked me how long I've been skiing...I told the 30 plus years. And they were like wooah. I said I'm in my 40s and they turned around and said that I'm older than their dad's. If that wasn't depressing enough I skied down to seal blasting at the base. Fun night but Idk i don't think night sessions are for me anymore. Happy to be skiing though...but yeah
I’ve got you by a few years lol. Kids were pretty annoying. There was a bit of a line and had a few drop backs. Nothing bothers me more than seeing chairs not full . I did a 4-6:45 session and thought the sugar was rather on the lighter side like 50% mixed with Feta .
I dipped into the ditch and first couple turns were nice but it turned into styrofoam ice and I thought I was going into the woods.
Once the light got better you could open up the throttle. Conditions were better than I expected.

"Up to 3 FEET of Snow Forecasted to Fall this Week
February is off to a snow-filled start and we're absolutely loving it! It's been dumping all day up on the mountain and this storm is just getting started! OpenSnow is forecasting up to 15 inches in the next 24 hours and up to 3 FEET of snowfall throughout the week!"
Hopefully Razingarizona13 will post some pictures on NYskiblog or TGR . He’s not only a talented skier but a great photographer too.
